What about Twitter, u tried to keep in touch with consul there?

No, I have not tried Twitter. I will give it a shot now.

Do you know or hear about anybody who waited this long after the approval?

Hello! I am sad and mad and about to scream and cry!! my husbands interview was today, they told him everything is ok but needed some more documents. They asked him to bring a marriage certificate from the civil registry office and Family record book. we never did a family record book? do I have to be there to make one?? do I have to travel to Jordan?? or should I just send a copy of my passport and my husband can get one without me traveling to Jordan??

No need to be sad insha allah everything is gonna be fine, so about your marriage certificate where u get it from, jordan or another place, and about the family record book just tell your husband to take the marriage certificate (the one issued from jordan) to any passport and status department and fill application there to get family record book and is simple he gonna get it with hour and half, so that's why I'm asking where did u issue your marriage certificate

I got u , so what u have now is called the marriage contract , so your husband need to take that to any passport and civil status department (al-ahwal al-madaniyah ) and get from there marriage certificate in English , and family record book, but when he is going to fill the application of marriage certificate , he should put down your full name (father, grandfather and family name too) in arabic and the same thing goes for your mother name he should fill the full name from four parts too in arabic, and that's it within less than two hours insha allah he is gonna have the marriage certificate in English or arabic as he want and family record book just in arabic

I just remember another thing , he should take with him the copy of permission from the interior ministry , the one that you get it when you marry (the one that court asked both of you to get during the marriage process)

the interior permission was taking by the court when we katabna ilktab

They should give two copy , anyhow let your husband go to the court where the marriage is held and ask them to give him a copy of interior permission (let him take marriage contract) and after that he should go to the passport and civil status department to get the marriage certificate and family record book, here below a link and it has a pdf file download it, its instructions of everything about passport and civil status department services, it's in arabic, you might forwarded it to your husband to check it out if you can't speak arabic
