Yelli, I called my Laywer today she said based on clients, right now houston is processing May fillers so I may wait 1 more month and blabla. So I decied to make a service request this morning and did INFoPass to see local IO in next Wed 12/09.

Just got out of the interview. My IO was extremely nice and on my marriage being legit part everything was ok and he was ready to approve us. Than something came up on my J1 and I might be looking at a possible denial. He wouldn't say exactly what alarmed him but he did make my husband step out while he asked me a million questions about my J1. Than finally he said that something in the case wasn't adding up and it looked like I applied for a student visa not a work visa (f1 not j1 which is what I had). That's all he would say. He tried to find his supervisor so he could give me an answer on the spot but the supervisor was on break. So the waiting starts. I don't even know how I feel right now, I just feel numb and wish for this to be over.

Good luck to everyone with upcoming interviews, and congratulations to those that already have been approved and have the greencard! We are still waiting on interview notice :( Ever since August, the only update I keep seeing on the USCIS website is "we received your RFE response August 13th, bla bla bla" Just wondering if anyone else is in NYC and had an RFE? Very nervous as to what's taking so long.

Yeah we're in NYC too, we filed in June and got and RFE in July on the I-864 and the USCIS received our evidence in August, but we've heard nothing since. I am getting ready to contact our member of Congress, but I doubt that will help.

I'm closer to NYC but I believe I am being processed through the Hartford, CT office. My application was accepted at the end of June and has been in "application received" ever since.

No RFEs (yet) got my EAD and AP, but nothing else yet.

A friend of mine applied last January through NYC and she got her greencard in August without any major obstacles. Hopefully we all get news soon and will have interviews in January?

I had my interview on 10/1/2015 and I am still waiting...

N-400 Naturalization acpplication

 

 

9/9/2018: 90 day window early application opened. (3 year rule)

9/9/2018: N-400 Application submitted ONLINE. Estimated case completion: November 2019 (14 months).

9/10/2018: NOA

9/15/2018:Scheduled for Biometrics appointment. Scheduled for 10/1/2018

10/1/2018: Biometrics completed. 

4/11/2019: Scheduled for Interview.

5/20/2019: Interview day, APPROVED!

5/30/2019: Oath Ceremony. Officially a US citizen! Time to Vote :D

2/27/2015: Sent I-612 + Affidavit and supporting documents (This was sent to California Service Center)

3/4/2015: USCIS received I-612 and sent Form I-797C notice of action in mail which I received later on.

4/9/2015: USCIS requested another non-USCIS advisory opinion for Form I-612

4/14/2015: From I-612 and I-613 were received by the DOS

5/6/2015: DOS: Post input: received,

6/27/2015: DOS decision turned to Favorable recommendation, Recommendation sent on 6/26

Still waiting for any news. Have been dead quiet on the I-485 and I-130 case since July. Meanwhile I have seen at least one other member from the Milwaukee office send in their application a month after us and gotten an interview and green card in hand since. I understand that some offices have longer waiting times, but seems a little odd when things like that happens.

Oh well. Hopefully by January there will be some news for us.
