Congratulations to everyone on interviews and approvals and Greencards!

If we are in NY does it mean that our file is getting processed here? Just wondering what's happening, because it still says that our RFE was received 8/13 and that the National Benefits Center will resume work on the case. Also, I tried calling USCIS but they refuse to give me any info as the petitioner and only want to speak to hubby, and he is at work and does not have time!

I do check online every once in a while to see if there's any updates but so far nothing. I hope they don't make me drive far if they do do that lol I think the other close one to us is San Antonio but that's a 4 hour drive! lol

The National Benefit Center will forward your petition to the local field office once they've completed all administrative tasks on your file. Your local field office will receive it and then schedule your interview, and then adjudicate it.

How is your case now? I am still waiting for a good update on mine. Till now my case hasn't changed yet. Houston is quiet and we have to wait another week. What is your wild guess? When we gonna get an interview notice? My wild guess is wrong now, it's over NOv 15th but still nothing changes.

Same here, nothing has changed and still says just case received. Idk I'm hoping we get the notice before the month is over and the interview sometime next month so we can start the New Year right but we shall see what happens. They need to hurry!

They're probably backed up just like the Houston office. I haven't heard anything since my EAD approval either.

According to Sept 30 2015, Houston is processing March 24th 2015, we can see that it is taking 6 months and 1 week to be called. I and Yelli are around 5 months and 3 weeks and let see 2 more weeks what will happen. God bless all

I am about to submit a case inquiry to USCIS at the beginning of Dec when my case is over 6 months. Based on 30 Sept 2015, Houston office is taking 6 months and 1 week to process a AOS. Anyway a case inquiry will take 2 weeks to respond so let see what's they will answer when a case is outside the normal processing time.

I am working on a list of things to bring. So anxious!!

YAY!! Congratulations. You'll start the new year off right! Although each office is a little different, just make sure you bring lots of proof of your life together. We had 2 albums of pictures and we had our lease, bank statements, insurances (life, health, auto), and credit card statement (we're joint on it).

Just be yourselves. The interview is more like a conversation. I freaked out for mine for no reason. Good luck
