Everyone being stressed over the interviews shouldn't be.. They're honestly more of an informal conversation. If you bring all your documents and pictures you're fine.

Thank you, I hope so too. I already had a job before submitting for the AOS so that's the good thing, I just gave my boss my SSN and everything now. I only got my TX ID cause I don't know how to parallel park so haven't gone for my DL lol. Also thanks to the EAD and getting an SSN I began selling It Works to make some extra money so I'm so glad I at least have that

We are almost the same time line and got EAD at the same time same day. Seem like we gonna get the interview at the same time because we are from Houston. My wild guess we may get out update around Nov 15th. Let hope and see.

Hopefully we do hear something within the next 2-3 weeks

Hello everyone! After a very long night at work I came home to a wonderful email from USCIS: my interview has been scheduled for December 1st in Buffalo, NY!

Yeah same! I got my job well before my AOS but my e-verify was only temporary due to the EAD. So now they need to update it for my green card I guess... Idk.

They didn't take the EAD card by the way at the interview. He said "keep it as a souvenier" Lol

Hey everyone. I wanted to let you all know how our interview went, and also congratulate everybody on their interview notifications and approvals on EADs/AOS

Our inteview was at 9:45 AM this morning and it lasted about 5 minutes.

We walked in went thru security and sat down with our number. Our number got called up right away.. After that we sat down with our officer at his desk.. He was a very sweet middle aged man.

He swore us in and then went over our I 485 questions... The yes/no questions that were answered previously.

After that he asked me for my SSN... He asked if we had any documents to show to him. We showed him our health, car, life insurances, bank statements, credit cards, and apartment lease..

After that he looked through the pictures very briefly (maybe a minute). He gave everything back to us and said he's recommending us for approval.

By 10:05 AM we were out in the parking lot already.

We looked on our case status now and it says card production ordered.

SO Happy this is all done with :)

My GREEN CARD was in the mail this afternoon

I also wanted to let yall know that it was a breeze to change the social security card too. I went in just now and I was in/out in about 10 minutes. Filled out a new application form, showed him my green card, and he said I'll get a new card in the mail that won't show "valid for work with DHS authorization"

I hope so too! My mom was actually just asking me about it this morning but nothing yet. I checked my mail last night hoping the letter would be there but still waiting.

Oh no - you'll see it before that Yelli. You'll see online that the interview was scheduled before you get the physical copy of it. And you may also get an interview somewhere else. What I found rather interesting is that my (local) office is in Orlando... Which is where I was called in for biometrics and it says online on the USCIS website that it's my office. But oddly enough the interview was in Jacksonville, about 2 hours away from us.. When I asked the officer he said it's because they split their workload. You may have another location too

I do check online every once in a while to see if there's any updates but so far nothing. I hope they don't make me drive far if they do do that lol I think the other close one to us is San Antonio but that's a 4 hour drive! lol
