I was gonna ask you... Not sure if you know the answer to this or not.. Can we apply for our social with just the approval notice, without the physical EAD card itself? The reason I'm asking is because I have a job interview coming up, and they asked me to bring the social security card...

I don't think so cause I checked the site and it says you have to show the EAD card.

Yay! Congrats and thank you for the luck! :D

So....I was too excited and applied online for 2 jobs yesterday and I received an email and a call today from one of them that they are interested in an interview with me! So exciting! Yet, I think it's the one that was only part-time and I didn't notice that part when I applied so I might have to reject :/

Good luck tcarrol! I think you will get something next week. Based on everyone's timeline, they seem to be pretty consistent between 60-70 days for EAD/AP.. Your NOA date and biometrics date are both pretty much a week after mine.

Do any of you guys know how long time it should take to get a biometrics appointment scheduled? And what to do after a certain number of days?

I still have not received mine and it's been two months from the initial NOA and about one month from the RFE NOA from their side,

thanks

Your biometrics come fairly quickly... It's usually no more than one month after the priority date shown on your NOA. I would re-start the clock though from when they received your RFE.

Does it state anywhere on your I485 status online that they accepted the fingerprint fee? If so, just sit tight another couple of weeks and then maybe give them a call.

Good luck to you
