May 2006 - My husband and I graduated high school and lost touch

September 2008 - Reconnected with my husband and began an on and off relationship.

June 8, 2012 - Moved in together

December 27, 2013 - Had our son

October 21, 2014 - Finally got married after putting it off for too long

June 2, 2015 - Sent AOS package

June 4, 2015 - Package received by USCIS

June 9, 2015 - Biometrics Fee Accepted

June 10, 2015 - Received Text that the package was received

June 16, 2015 - NOA1 Received

June 20, 2015 - EAD Biometrics Appointment Letter Received

June 22, 2015 - AOS Form I-485 Biometrics Appointment Letter Received

June 30, 2015 - Biometrics Done

August 7, 2015 - EAD/AP Approved and EAD status changed to Card Being Produced

Still be hopeful @Carrie1978 , since you had your Biometrics 7 days after mine....You'll hear some positive news before this week runs out...Good luck & Don't think your case is forgotten.

Thanks bondgirl0078 !! I'm hopeful that we'll hear something by the end of the month at least but this week would be amazing! I just get excited seeing everyone's movement and then think why didn't I send our packet earlier lol.

The wait is killing me. My biometrics was early July can't remember exact date now, will check when off work. Pretty sure it's been 4 or 5 weeks since the appointment

It says waiting to schedule your appointment from August 7th but still waiting...

I logged into my account and it says the exact same thing but they changed the date from August 7th to August 19th. I'm so confused... Why isn't my case moving anywhere

Still haven't heard anything from USCIS. We did receive a RFE back in July but they received our information on July 15th. However since then nothing, and still no biometrics appointment. Sigh. Guess we should prepare for a loong wait.

  • 061615 (day 0) - I-130, I-131, I-765 and I-485 sent
  • 061715 (day 1) - I-130, I-131, I-765 and I-485 received at USCIS
  • 062415 (day 😎 - I-130, I-131, I-765 and I-485 notice date
  • 062615 (day 10) - NOA hardcopies received for I-130, I-131, I-765 and I-485
  • 070115 (day 15) - Suspended processing of case I-485 RFE
  • 070915 (day 23) - RFE Hardcopy received, I-94 missing
  • 071115 (day 25) - Sent RFE material to Lee's Summit MO
  • 071515 (day 29) - USCIS officially received RFE, started working on case again
  • 081815 (day 63) - Appointment Notice Date, Biometrics Appt. for I-485, I-130, I-131 and I-765

I haven't heard a peep since - last update online was confirmation of my change of address of July 9th. Hopefully we hear soon - I'm terrible at having patience!

Thanks :) Yeah I hope more people get it this week. The wait is torture lol.

Now looking back it took 68 days instead of 90, which is pretty good... But checking that thing every day was torture lol.

Oh and also, the text message thing is unreliable like other people say, I didn't receive a text.

Ok after I sent this (it wont let me edit it again) they sent me the emails that say the I-765 and I-131 have been approved!

I'm sure you'll hear something soon since it's been almost a month since your biometrics. I didn't get a text when my EAD/AP were approved only the email so yeah texts are useless lol but I still stalk the website almost daily to see if there's anything new on the I-485 lol
