Hi all,

I had my interview today;It went weird but I got APPROVED this evening this is how the interview went

IO first went through the I-130 then to I-485 YES/NO question;then asked my wife how we met and if her family approves of our marriage and took our joint lease, bank statement and looked at our pictures...after she gave a letter saying "A decision cannot be yet be made about your application" and told us we will here from them within 45-60 days...But it took just a couple hours!!!Now waiting for the physical card

I just got email from USCIS that my EAD card was sent to me. OMG, i thought it's one more days without news since I usually get update in early mornings. I can't believe it! Hope the card also includes AP since I didn't receive hard copy for AP even though it's approved...weirdd

Yelli, since yours is only a day or 2 after mine, you should also get some good news this weekend or Monday. Soon you will be able to apply for your dream job

Hopefully I do hear something soon. I know on Friday it said card ordered then it went to name updated then went to case approved so I feel like my case is going backwards lol but we'll see, hopefully I do get good news if not this weekend by next week. I can't wait to start applying for a new job. Only thing is I don't know what to apply for since I'm so used to working for insurance as a customer service representative yet I think I'm ready for something new.

Congrats to ALL that have seen movement and approvals! As slow as the process feels while we wait, when I look at the timelines I'm really shocked that we are less than 90 days out and a lot of you have gotten at least the EAD approved!

To those of you that haven't seen movement, has the "touched" date changed at all? I feel paranoid that after the fingerprints a month ago there still has been no touch of our case.

My I-485 hasn't been touched since June. I wouldn't worry too much about it though.

My case hasn't been "touched" since July 7th and I had my biometrics on the 30th.

You probably won't hear anything regarding your EAD for another month. I had my biometrics done June 30th and my EAD didn't get approved until August 7th, so it was over a month after biometrics. Just give it time and you'll see it will get approved before you know it. But it does take about a month after biometrics for it to get approved.
