Weeeeelll...time to update my timeline. I was looking at y'all's posts today and noticed that many who applied around my same time got their EAD approval notice last friday/saturday. I had not received an automated text message, so I was not hoping for anything new on mine..but when I logged in to my USCIS case page I realized that the card was ordered on Saturday!! Just in time for my big interview this week

So I guess my advice is don't rely too much on their automatic notification system - I didn't get a message for my EAD approval.

My I-485 case is still stagnant though, been on the "we're ready to schedule your interview" phase for a few weeks now...freaking Dallas office!

Congrats to everyone else who got their interview or EAD this past week!

It has only been 2 weeks since my biometrics appointment and the wait is already driving me crazy. Haha.

Yeah there are some movements, but now EAD is delayed due to card production upgrade or something...why us? why now?

They should have just kept using the old system till the new one is up and running. They just want a reason to make us wait longer

Hello! I have been looking at this thread a long time I am also waiting for EAD, the date of NOA is june 12. I had biometrics july 10 and no RFE. Still stuck at "case was received". I am losing patience! Good luck to everybody and thank you for updating your timelines.

Hi, welcome...Am also stuck at case received since June 9th & waiting for my EAD approval, had my biometrics since July 10th..My thing is try to get busy & focus on other things, by so doing you wouldn't lose most of your valuable patience.Lol

Ugh, I didn't know they were being delayed. I was getting excited starting to look for a new job for when I go get my social. Aaaaaahhhh! Do they not know this waiting is torture on us?! lol

Same here, biometrics done July 17th and no touches since July 6th. Aghhhhhh! I at least want to know its being touched by someone even if just moved to the other side of the desk, tell me it's been seen!!

Be happy at least your case wasn't touched for the wrong reasons (RFE), Mine was touched only because of that .......Just relax and try to stay focus on other positive things and hopefully before the end of this month believe you'll get some positive news.Good luck

IO first went through the I-130 then to I-485 YES/NO question;then asked my wife how we met and if her family approves of our marriage and took our joint lease, bank statement and looked at our pictures...after she gave a letter saying "A decision cannot be yet be made about your application" and told us we will here from them within 45-60 days...But it took just a couple hours!!!Now waiting for the physical card

No...we did not have a reception..IO didn't even ask if we had one

thanks for the info I have been visiting my gf since 2012 and my now wife and I decided to get marry this year to I apply for AOS but did not do a reception. So that is my concern.
