Hi!!

I received an email from USCIS today stating that I will be receiving by mail a RFE requesting evidence on my I 485 process. However, I wonder if this has something to do with the fact that I requested my EAD card to be expedite.

Does anyone have the same experience in requesting to expedite the EAD card and get a RFE? I sent my application on May 29, 2015 and did my biometrics on June 29. Everything was fine, until this RFE, now I have to wait for the letter to arrive so I can know what they need. I sent together with my application all the required documents, I can only think that my request to expedite the EAD has something to do with it.

Any thoughts?

From what i know, when you request to expedite EAD, they will request for proof. So maybe that's what the RFE is for. But as Toy said, you should just wait till it arrives. Best of luck!

Yay! Congrats! My priority date is June 4th so hopefully I get something next week on the EAD/AP.

Hopefully, and let's hope they update it online once it happens considering they never update mine lol

They never updated mine till now as well. Also, I got email updates only. I signed up on USCIS to receive text update as well but i didn't get any text messages. So I would say keep checking email and hope for good news :)

Just got notice of approval for EAD/AP!

congrats!!! hopefully the rest of us get approved soon.

07/31/17 - Mailed I-751 package to California Service Center

08/01/17 - Package delivered to CSC

08/05/17 - NOA1 received by US mail

08/10/18 - Rec'd new NOA1 with 18 month extension instead of 12 months

10/15/18 - Case transferred to Nebraska

12/26/18 - ROC Approved

Thank you! My heart is still pounding of excitement. Told my husband over the phone and he asked about what the AP meant and I was like I can go to Mexico and come back and he was like dam I was hoping they'd leave you over there lmao so him haha

Congrats to those who have got it.. I'm excited to see activity in the forum.. Ive been a silent reader so far.. My noa1 is June 26.. Will probably be one of those last people who get it approved.. I can't wait though..

Be careful on using the AP though.. It's supposed to be used only incase of emergency if I understand right.
