Hmmm

yelli have you gone past the 75 to 90 days average time for the EAD?

From what day do I count? The day they received it? If so, I don't think so. They received it June 4th so it's been 62 days as of today if it's from that date. I think that's the priority date on the letters too. I'm at work so I can't verify what it says on the NOAs for that date.

I've waited for this since I got old enough to understand well enough what being in the country illegally meant. I was brought at the age of 8 so I obviously didn't know better but once I got to high school and graduated that's when it really hit me. I got lucky to have fallen in love with a USC who can adjust my status. Plus once I was able to fully understand what it meant to be here illegally I had already lived more than half my life here, I wouldn't have been able to just drop everything and go back to Mexico where I can work legally and whatnot. So yes, I am very anxious for this lol 17 years of not seeing close family from Mexico and almost 10yrs of not seeing one of my sisters nor meeting my niece, I just can't wait! lol

I woke up to some good news from USCIS. My I765 EAD is approved on August 4th. Didn't get any email for I131 AP though.

For the one who got their EAD/AP approved already, did you get separate approval email notice for both? And will USCIS send us another notice once EAD/AP are produced and mailed out?

Oct 17: Sent package

Oct 24: Received NOA1

Still waiting for Biometrics letter

Also my I131 AP case status has just been updated to approve as well. EAD/AP were both approved on Aug. 4 but online status didn't get updated till now, so i think you guys should get some news soon.

Hi!!

I received an email from USCIS today stating that I will be receiving by mail a RFE requesting evidence on my I 485 process. However, I wonder if this has something to do with the fact that I requested my EAD card to be expedite.

Does anyone have the same experience in requesting to expedite the EAD card and get a RFE? I sent my application on May 29, 2015 and did my biometrics on June 29. Everything was fine, until this RFE, now I have to wait for the letter to arrive so I can know what they need. I sent together with my application all the required documents, I can only think that my request to expedite the EAD has something to do with it.

Any thoughts?

Thank you so much!!!

hi, guys, some people from May thread called to USCIS, talked to tier 2 officers and asked about their EAD/APs, and they were told that they are going through some sort of an upgrade to a new system, so all the EAD/APs approvals and card production will be delayed after the end of July

be patient, guys! soon the wait will be over
