Good luck with the RFEs guys! My sister had an RFE when she did hers last year and it was also for the affidavit of support she sent all the co-sponsor information in and she's been a legal resident for almost a year now. So y'all will be fine. I hope I don't get one because we only sent the most recen year's income tax return since we couldn't find one of the other 2 years that were optional so I decided not to send it since it said only optional.

Thanks! Good to see that your biometrics were the same day as mine and you're status has been changed to ready for interview. Gives me hopes that as long as I don't get an RFE I might get the interview scheduled soon :)

Yeah, that's why I kinda don't see any interview notices arriving anytime soon. Maybe not until the end of this month and scheduled for the end of August *sigh*

Clarification: There are two steps when moving from initial evaluation to interview. First the NBC will make the case ready for interview. The timing there is independent of field office backlogs. It is a function of case complexity, amount of evidence required, time it takes for name check, etc... After the NBC makes it ready, it sends the file to the local field office. Delays here are mostly due to backlogs, but can also be affected by random stuff. So you can get a "case ready for interview notice" and wait for months because of backlog in your local office.

Considering how big Houston is and how much work I bet they have I'm sure there's a lot of backlogs and it'll take a while for us.

Thanks for sharing that info. I figured that was the case, but I wasn't sure.

Received my hardcopy of interview appointment letter today (or actually i think it came saturday, but hadn't checked the mail). Notice date says 7/6, so it was sent before online status updated.

ROC Timeline:

May 31: Package mailed

June 8: NOA1 received, dated June 2

June 27: Biometrics done

Sept 25: Case Status Update Card in Production

My online status has never been updated, I hate it! It's been the same since 06/10 which is when I first checked it.
