Thank you! Spreading around the good luck for everyone *luck, luck, luck, luck, luck, luck, luck, luck, luck*

i put superglue on myself so the luck would stick better  ...Now time to practice your interview huh? Keep us updated! Don't leave us yet!

How do you request an expedite ead? And what motives can you give for that? Shacanus how did it go on your biometrics appt and piano congrats on your appointment so soon, hopefully everything goes smoothly

You could expedite EAD if you could provide financial loss evidence or you already have a job offer.

Hi Shacanus! Glad your biometrics appt went swiftly and smoothly. Here is when Piano filed.

On a not so happy note.....I got an RFE - a request for intial evidence- text late last night. :-( I think I slept for all of one hour. I just looked through my i485 table of contents. Every bit of evidence that I actually have, I sent, so I don't know what they are trying to say I didn't send. At the rate at which my snail mail turns up, I probably won't know until the end of next week. Does this mean the the entire case is halted? Or just the i485? The text said:

On July 8, 2015, we suspended processing of your case, Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxx, because we need more information from you. Your notice explains what we need from you to resume work on your case. We will not take action on your case until we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires. Please follow the instructions in the notice.

Aww...sorry that you got RFE. I believe the whole case will be put on hold since EAD/AP is based on i-485.

Aww man, that's one of my fears. I sent in everything they asked for as evidence that I had. I also hope that the fact that we have a son together makes things easier for me.

Having a kid together is the strongest evidence to prove your marriage bona fide. You almost don't need to give them any other evidence haha

:dance:I-751: Removal of Conditions Journey

Oct 17: Sent package

Oct 24: Received NOA1

Still waiting for Biometrics letter

Superglue the luck, good one! Why didn't I think of that before? lol

Yeah and I'm so glad our son was actually planned and not an oopsie baby like most kids now days.

Keeping my fingers crossed we don't get an RFE and that the luck Piano sent us works and we get a text/email that our cases are ready for an interview :D

Sadly I got a RFE yesterday. My wife was out of a job 2013 June to 2014 May so even thought she is making over 40,000 a year now they still need a co sponsor. Feeling down every set back is heartbreaking .

I'm so sorry to hear that. It's crazy how many hoops we have to jump through just to be with our loved ones. Wishing you nothing but smooth sailing from here on out.

What exactly does the RFE say and what evidence did you send? I believe that you won't need a co-sponsor if you're able to prove she currently makes 40,000/yr if you send 6 months worth of paychecks + letter from current employer saying her job is permanent and stating the salary level. What matters for I-864 is the now.

yes those are the evidence they ask for, yet they said she still did not meet the 125% poverty guideline. I think it's because 4 person are on her sponsor list, her self, her child, my self and her ex husband.

Oh NO! I'm so sorry to hear you got one, too. This is so frustrating. I didn't get mine yet so I'm not sure what it is for. It seems like people tend to get them for the affidavits of support.

Did you look at the poverty guideline chart for this year? I only have the 2014 chart saved on my computer but I looked at it just now and for a household of 4, the threshold is $35,775. I know it will be a little higher for this year but surely it's not $40,000. Like Blahblahblog said, definitely do the 6 months paystubs and employer letter. I hope that is all that will be required to satisfy them. Or did you mean you sent those things already? It is hard to get a joint sponsor. :-(

Day 00 - 6/08/2015 - I130,I485,I765 Package delivered to Chicago lockbox

Day 01 - 6/09/2015 - USCIS records package is received (according to online case status check, though the NOA texts/emails weren't sent to me until 8 days later)

Day 09 - 6/17/2015 - Received text & e-confirmation of NOA. Case accepted & routed to USCIS National Benefits Center

Day 15 - 6/23/2015 - Received 797c NOA letters of receipt by snail mail

Day 22 - 6/30/2015 - Received biometrics appt letter

Day 29 - 7/07/2015 - Biometrics appt

Day 36 - 7/14/2015 - Received RFE for documents that were included and clearly labeled in application package. Will resend required information this week.

no I did not send back anything as yet only got the letter yesterday. I have the 2015 HHS poverty guidelines and it says for 4 person is 30,312. but the letter also said base on what we submit its not enough for 4 persons so I'm confused. Yet they asking for evidence of a job letter which incluse how much she working for and conformation that's it's a permanent job.
