No it wont effect your petition, we signed with black pen and had no problems at all, The idea with signing with a blue pen is so that they can tell that the signature is not a photo copy, but is the original signature, it stands out from the black of the photo copy or laser printed form.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Question 4. What Are the General Filing Instructions?

Most government forms can be filled out and signed in Blue or Black ink. The normal blue not some neon.

I suppose their preference is black since all the government pens I seem to have collected over the years were black. But I would give no cause for alarm - especially since was just the signature. Not a big deal.

I'd use black in the future though so you won't worry..

Just my opinon learned during a military career..
