Dear ALL!!!

Happy belated Valentines Day for all of you folks!

It has been a while since I last visited the Visajourney, and I have information to share ;-).

My daughter and I recieved our visas at USA consulate in Almaty, KZ on 06/29/2006.

My fiance brought us over to the USA on 08/01/2006.

Within two weeks I got my SSN and Drivers Licence; my daughter went to School.

We got married 10/27/2006.

Sent the documents for Adjustment of Status on 10/30/2006

Recieved my Work Authorization Card 01/29/2007

My Alien Registration Card arrived 02/13/2007

All in all, since the first letter we exchanged (06/29/2005), it took us exactly 1 year to get a visa and another 6 months to get all the documents.

Now we reside in TX and we are doing great!

Hey Congatulations!!! Sounds like the dream situation we're all trying to get to, well except for the living in TX part! Not that theres anything wrong with that.
