Using a Pastor as a co sponsor?

Hi guys!

As I'm getting ready to fill out my affidavit of support, I am starting to have a whole bunch of questions! (Duh lol)

I unfortunately do not meet minimum requirement for poverty guidelines so I am using my father as my co sponsor. My father is a Pastor and he gets a salary. Has been a pastor for 15 years now. I have his last 3 years if his tax returns and 6 months worth of pay stub. Should he write a letter of his own stating that he is a pastor and receives a weekly salary from his church? or should I be ok with what I have?

To be on the safe side, have him write that letter. There is no such thing as too much evidence. :)

The letter should come from the church compensation committee, or similar person(s).
