GOOD MORNING.. I received a text notification this morning say..Your case XXXXXX is now updated. Check "My Case Status" at www.uscis.gov.. But when I singed in the status remains the same that I was from biometrics was taken.. By the way this is for the I-485 does this happen to anyone else?

We received a text this morning, too.. But it was for our EAD application that was already approved about a month ago.

Someone mentioned it might have to do with an update they did to their online system, which caused these alerts.

We got 2 alerts texted this morning. One at 6am our time, which nothing was changed on, and then another just a couple of minutes ago. My combo card was sent back to them by USPS, and it says this now; I'm just hoping it's true, but my service request still says that it's not assigned to anyone. Hoping it WAS actually mailed back out, and not a glitch.

On September 16, 2015, we mailed your new card for your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number MSC##########, to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by October 16, 2015, please go towww.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we resend the card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

AOS Timeline 350 days

 

May 31/15 - Sent AOS/EAD/AP to USCIS

June 4/15 - Email and text notifications they were recieved

June 10/15 - NOA1 for AOS/EAD/AP Dated June 1

June 17/15- Change of address confirmation

June 22/15- Biometrics appointment received

July 1/15- Biometrics appointment done(5 minute appointment, 8 hour round trip drive <_< )

August 5/15 - Change of address submitted for new location

August 8/15 - Mobile/E-mail notifications for approved EAD/AP :)

August 17/15 - Change of address confirmation after calling in

August 17/15 - EAD/AP Combo card mailed out(To the wrong address, and then lost by USPS)

September 3/15 - Contacted USCIS and was told to re-apply with a new application and fees?! Put in a service request online for lost card, and a complaint

September 8/15 - USPS found & returned card to USCIS

September 15/15 - Ombudsman contacted USCIS

September 17/15 - Card mailed back out

September 19/15 - EAD/AP Combo card finally in hand

September 22/15 - NPIW letter received, dated September 9/2015 estimated 6 month wait

October 13-21/15 - Traveled using AP to visit parents & ship the rest of our belongings out west

November 27-30/15 - Traveled using AP

December 28/15- RFE hard copy, waiting on documents from Canada

January 31-February 7/16 - Traveled using AP

February 10/16 - Sent in RFE, delivered Feb 16

April 16/16 - Service request filed, RFE was never updated online

May 12 - Approved email and status update dated May 10. Service request never was assigned or solved, though.

May 14 - Greencard in hand!

I did wait almost 2 years for my visa available to be able to send I-485.

A check of $1070 was cashed by USCIS Chicago on 06/08/2015

Biometrics Appointment on July 1st, 2015

EAD is approved on August 10th 2015 (73 days)

Received EAD card on August 19th 2015

Sent renew EAD on April 9th 2016

Got interview notice on March 30th 2016

USCIS received on April 11th 2016

Interview Scheduled on May 3rd 2016

Approved on the spot - Handed print out approval notice.

Received 10 years GC in hand on May 7th 2016

N-400 

Filed online on 02/02/2021

NOA online on 02/02/2021

Received NOA in mail on 02/10/2021

Reuse Biometrics NOA online 02/19/2021

That should be OK now, I believe you gonna get your GC within 2-3 months as well. Waivers won't take too long like last year because they got a complaint by Obuseman a few months a go.

With NPIW once the GC is approved when will be the start date?

Is it the day the NPIW was sent or the day the GC was approved?

07/06/2015 - NOA1 received.

07/13/2015 - Biometric letter arrived mail box. Date 07/24/2015

07/24/2015 - Biometric done. One month mark

08/29/2015 - EAD approved

09/03/2015 - EAD card mailed

09/04/2015 - EAD approval mail in mail box

09/08/2015 - EAD card received.

09/09/2015 - Applied for SSN.

09/15/2015 - Got my SSN in the mail

04/14/2015 - Update online: Your interview has been scheduled for 05/19

Thats not exactly the day was sent, it means now your case is on hold at NBC, then after 2-3 months they will be processed and assigned to an officer to adjudgment like your EAD. If the officer not sure somthing on your case he gonna ready to schedule your interview! Hope that day he is busy and tired so he wont send the interview!

Hey Evertone. How is everything coming along. I just checked my mailbox and A potential interview waiver letter was sitting there waiting for me... Sigh! Another 6 months of waiting.

Other than that, how is job seeking or your new job? Hope you are all enjoy the benifits of the EAD/AP

Thanks! Sure hope you're right! I spoke with Tier 2 agent today and they said that regardless of interview or not GC are taking 8-10 months.
