Just a quick update, got our SSN cards for me and my son! So excited, tomorrow gonna apply for a new ID!

Congrats.

Just got my EAD card.

Will apply for SSn on friday and hopefully ID.

06/24/2015 - Package received
06/29/2015 - fingerprint fee accepted.
06/30/2015 - Received text & e-confirmation of NOA. Case received & routed to USCIS National Benefits Center
07/06/2015 - NOA1 received.

07/13/2015 - Biometric letter arrived mail box. Date 07/24/2015

07/24/2015 - Biometric done. One month mark

08/29/2015 - EAD approved

09/03/2015 - EAD card mailed

09/04/2015 - EAD approval mail in mail box

09/08/2015 - EAD card received.

09/09/2015 - Applied for SSN.

09/15/2015 - Got my SSN in the mail

04/14/2015 - Update online: Your interview has been scheduled for 05/19

I'm so frustrated. The status for my EAD went from approved to card production and back to approved. Now I'm not sure when they will mail this card to me. I'm not sure what to do.

June 11,2015- Sent everything to the Chicago lock box
June 22,2015- NOA email and texts received
June 23,2015- Checks withdrawn
July 15, 2015- Biometrics appointment
July 20,2015- ready to schedule an interview
August 21,2015- EAD/AP is approved

September 3,2015- EAD card is in production.-Card was held by the post office for 1 month due to relocation despite mail forwarding request.

Oct 23, 2015 - EAD card received.

Nov 2, 2015 - Social Security card received.

Dec 28, 2015 - Received notice to appear for an interview.

Jan 27,2016- Appeared for the AOS interview at Seattle, WA.

Jan 28, 2016- Received a notice that card is in production.

Jan 28, 2016- Case Approved

Feb 2, 2016- Card Mailed

Feb 4, 2016- GC received (Hoorayyy) :dancing:

Thanks, hope it will not take too long! They couldn't varify my immigration status means(EAD), so have to do the same thing SSA did to issue my ssn. Don't really understand how this is possible that nobody can varify our statuses without any problem....

You are right! DMV and SSA need to call USCIS to verify our legal present in US before they are able to issue DL and SSN. This happens to everyone, I know the US Immigration is being hurt the real couples, we have been been waiting so long to legal live and work in US. I hope that they will improve their system soon so that we don't have to wait too long without job and Driver License.
