No, it's only valid one year for everybody, but you can always apply for another one 90 before it's expired if you won't still have your GC on hand!

I am planning to apply AP but read some pages and know that it doesn't guarantee to return US. So just make sure GC on hand before travelling. I worried about my cases because I may get an Interview waiver due to my local office is overload. I want to take an interview to get GC faster than Interview waiver may be taking up to 6 months.

Latest person got interview notice is from Honolulu Hawaii with filed date 07/17/2015. And the second one is from El Paso Texas with filed date 07/08/2015. They even got Interview notice before EAD approval. Why this processing is not fair to everyone? I have checked on processing time frame on USCIS website for EL Paso Texas that shows timeframe for I-485 is around December 8th 2014 but the guy did receive notice too early.

Can't wait to get my DL as well, but can't do anything right now while waiting for my ssn....

Same here for my wife. She can't get a bank account with a state ID. She can't get a state ID without her updated SS card. But yet, she can work and receive a paycheck. No one will cash it for her either! We spent our only day off tomorrow running around from place to place. :(

hi everyone.

i am thinking about doing a second case inquiry online on tuesday, which is day 91 from when they received my original application. i am not sure if i should do that since i got this letter saying that the 90 days start from when they received my RFE answer which was july 31st. i am willing to give it a try, at the same time im nervous and i dont want to piss them off too much, and in the end have more trouble. did anyone have the same problem? do you guys think i should do another case inquiry or not?

2012: met the woman of my life

June 2014: filed I-129F

May 2015: visa in hand - got married (L)

June 2015: filed I-485 and I-765

October 2015: EAD

November 2015: Potential Interview Waiver Notice

February 2016: AOS Case transferred to San Francisco office

March 2016: GC in hand (no interview)

How your case inquiry shows? It is assigned to an officer or not?. I believe you dont have to submit your inquiry again because now I think they are processing your case.
