So I just came back from SSA again, the lady said, that woman on the phone this morning couldn'd see my application in their system cause the cards were already produced Aug.31 and they sent them to me, so as she said I should get them today or tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow, cause today didn'y get anything.....

Back from the Social Security Administration after a LONG queue at the office.

They were able to instantly verify me on the spot via SAVE database and the receipt said I should have it within 2 weeks time.

The nice lady at the office told me to come back and get my SSN tomorrow if i need it ASAP.

Time to pull out my resume and start applying

06/29/2015 - fingerprint fee accepted.
06/30/2015 - Received text & e-confirmation of NOA. Case received & routed to USCIS National Benefits Center
07/06/2015 - NOA1 received.

07/13/2015 - Biometric letter arrived mail box. Date 07/24/2015

07/24/2015 - Biometric done. One month mark

08/29/2015 - EAD approved

09/03/2015 - EAD card mailed

09/04/2015 - EAD approval mail in mail box

09/08/2015 - EAD card received.

09/09/2015 - Applied for SSN.

09/15/2015 - Got my SSN in the mail

04/14/2015 - Update online: Your interview has been scheduled for 05/19

So just out of curiousity, does EAD approval mean that the card is in production or do I get a separate status update letting me know that the card is in production? Thanks so much guys. I'm so frustrated as I have a job offer already but can't start working coz of this card. When I call USCIS, they told me they can't do anything to speed up the production of the card as it has already been approved. Any suggestions?

June 11,2015- Sent everything to the Chicago lock box
June 22,2015- NOA email and texts received
June 23,2015- Checks withdrawn
July 15, 2015- Biometrics appointment
July 20,2015- ready to schedule an interview
August 21,2015- EAD/AP is approved

September 3,2015- EAD card is in production.-Card was held by the post office for 1 month due to relocation despite mail forwarding request.

Oct 23, 2015 - EAD card received.

Nov 2, 2015 - Social Security card received.

Dec 28, 2015 - Received notice to appear for an interview.

Jan 27,2016- Appeared for the AOS interview at Seattle, WA.

Jan 28, 2016- Received a notice that card is in production.

Jan 28, 2016- Case Approved

Feb 2, 2016- Card Mailed

Feb 4, 2016- GC received (Hoorayyy) :dancing:

approval usually means the card is already in production, my case status history actually shows Card production before the approval but on the same day. the next update you should be getting is "We mailed your new card"

At first it should say card being produced, then in a couple of days it should change in to approved, and after that in one week or smth in to the card has been mailed to you, after it's mailed you should get it within two days with priority mail.

Congrats, you have to count abt 10 days since the day you were approved, hope next week you'll get the card!

Hope you get it tomorrow, but you can also call USCIS and ask for tracking number, this way you will know where it is!

Yep, it will ask you for you case number, then you'll be connected to 1 level agent when you ask for tracking number he/she gonna be helpless but will be able to connect you to the tier2 officer.

Its weid that some people get their tracking number in their e-mail or from their status update at USCIS website. My tracking number was including in my case update.. When they mailed the card, it said, On xxxx date we mailed ur card, ur tracking number is xxxx.. I guess it depends on who enter the update for ur case.

Got rejection notice on May 29, 2015 for an incomplete application

Receive rejected application on June 6, 2015

Resubmit June 8, 2015

Delivered June 9, 2015

NOA Date : 2015-06-16

Bio. Appt. : 2015-07-06

EAD and AP Approved Date : 2015-08-14

Date Combo Card Received : 2015-08-21 (Received my card about 6hrs apart on the same day they sent an e-mail that they shipped my card).

Receive Potential Interview Waiver Letter: September 9, 2015 sigh!!
