Hi everyone!

I have a question!

a few days ago i did the online service request (case inquiry). when i looged in on the website, in my case history it said "n August 25, 2015, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application was assigned to an officer for response."

Now i have two new entrys in my case history:

"On August 26, 2015, we sent a response to your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, "

and

"On August 26, 2015, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application was completed."

but when i check my case status, i have no update!

what does this mean?

does this mean i will get my ead soon? or does that just mean that they will look into it now?

October 2015: EAD

November 2015: Potential Interview Waiver Notice

Hi everyone!

I have a question!

what does this mean?

does this mean i will get my ead soon? or does that just mean that they will look into it now?

This happened to me before my EAD was approved. I called and spoke with tier 2 and I considered myself lucky because she submitted a service request for me before day 75. I saw the same thing you are seeing in your case history. They sent me a letter in the mail stating I am still in normal processing time and it can take up to 90 days. One week later my case was approved :-)

Hang tight, at least there is now some attention on your case :-)

How long are you waiting puffers?

I sent in a service request for my I-485 for change of address. I just checked my case history and noticed it was assigned to an officer on Aug 26, hopefully that will spark them to schedule me for an interview.

79 days now

Hang tight the approval is coming soon. I know the wait time horrible, I have no patience I am surprised they have not blacklisted me yet from calling customer care lol. I talk to tier 2 everyday, I know it sounds real bad :no: . It is the same thing with my SSN I have no patience, it's really hard counting cars passing everyday while sitting at home. I can finally work now while I sit and check my AOS status every 2 mins LOL.

I really hope you hear something if not this week early next week

i dont know anymore. i really feel like there is some kind of problem. i filed june 2nd, USCIS received june 10th. i dont see ANYONE here who filed around that time and hasnt gotten their card yet. even july people get their cards, and certainly all the june filers. i am getting really worried, it just seems like everything goes wrong. got an RFE for initial evidence for AOS, EAD is not coming... im just getting really frustrated and hopeless.

I have been successful to renew my Driver License after they verify my EAD, I came back DMV without the verify notice (I haven't received it yet although they told me they sent them) but they allowed me to renew my DL, my DL valids in a year! Now I can drive again!

i know, thank you for trying to cheer me up! :)

i know some people wait even longer. i think i'm just frustrated because K1 took forever for us too. waited over a year for the approval, after an RFE and just being stuck in the texas service center. so now that i'm here, i was hoping things move a little faster. but no. looks like i have to be patient also with me GC, my office is processing application from September 2014 right now..

but once i have my EAD, things are gonna get a lot better! and: at least i'm here now! no more long distance relationship! :)

i know some people wait even longer. i think i'm just frustrated because K1 took forever for us too. waited over a year for the approval, after an RFE and just being stuck in the texas service center. so now that i'm here, i was hoping things move a little faster. but no. looks like i have to be patient also with me GC, my office is processing application from September 2014 right now..

but once i have my EAD, things are gonna get a lot better! and: at least i'm here now! no more long distance relationship! :)

The process is very frustrating...well the wait is. I wish they would change the EAD wait time to 30 days instead of 90 days that while we wait for the long interview wait we can make an income. Keep us updated, I have my fingers crossed you will hear something real soon.
