also, on the website it says that the petitioner, applicant or legal representative can call and get information about the case. on the phone, the officer refused to give my wife any information, so she had to come get me and i had to talk to that person.

usually i call them myself anyways, but today we thought my wife should try to talk to them, because we felt that maybe they take a US citizen more serious than the foreign spouse.

Anyways I thought that was strange that they wouldn't give my wife (who's the petitioner!!) any information.

2012: met the woman of my life

June 2014: filed I-129F

May 2015: visa in hand - got married (L)

June 2015: filed I-485 and I-765

October 2015: EAD

November 2015: Potential Interview Waiver Notice

February 2016: AOS Case transferred to San Francisco office

March 2016: GC in hand (no interview)

I just gave them a call too regarding my AOS, the lady didn't transfer me either said if I wish so then the officer will call me back later, which I doubt abt that, lol.

She didn't tell me anything new, the same info I can read on their website, currently my local office timeframe is 5,5 months...

My wife received her EAD/AP card in the mail yesterday. She didn't know what it was, thought it was junk mail, so she waited until I woke up to open it. It turns out that the unofficial app that we've been using is very slow on updating. After she got the card, I received a notification saying it was at the post office. <_< Now we wait for the grand interview of all interviews! Good luck to everyone out there and try hard (co len!) ^_^[/quote

Hey tightfield when was your ead approved? We have the same exact timeline just we haven't heard anything. Thanks

Just wondering,

is there anyone else whose application for EAD was received by USCIS around JUNE 10th and still wasn't approved, or am I the only one?

I'm starting to think something went wrong with the application or whatever, but I don't know what to do about it.

i know its no ones fault, but i guess i'm gonna try not to get my hopes up too high anymore, that just makes everything more frustrating.

Just received AP approval notice!

It seems like RFE for I-485 doesn't affect your EAD processing time that much if at all (at least in my case) since today was day 60 since filing my package with about a week of downtime to respond to the RFE notice.

I was stressing out so much because of the RFE so i hope this puts others at ease.

Hey Puffers! We are also still waiting for EAD approval. My wife had her biometrics done on July 8. No update on USCIS website. It still says "case received". I hope we get approval this week :)
