If this is your first time receiving SSN then you need your foreign passport, birth certif. your EAD card, marriage certif.(if you need your marriage last name on it), and you will have to fill out their form!

Yes this is my first ssn, do you know if my passport has to have my visa? Because the one that has the visa is expired and I have a new passport without the visa, do I need noa of 485 too? And the marriage certificate it didn't came out with my married name, it only shows his legal name and my legal maiden name, you think that's an issue?

You have to bring your new passport and just have in case your old one as well if they ask for it, marriage certificate you have to bring for sure, it desn't matter if it's not showing your name after marriage they will compare your husband's last name and the name on your EAD(the new married name). I have the same type of marriage cert.which doesn't show my name after marriage, but it worked well, I guess a lot of people have the same thing!

Don't need the noa I-485, you already have EAD which shows your legal status in the US

Hi everyone.

So I still didn't get an update on my ead. I was wondering how do we get to speak to a tier 2 after 75 days (that's monday?)? Do we just say we wanna speak to one? Cus I don't think its that easy? Last time I called the lady said it can take up to 90 days. So I'm wondering, where does it say thay after 75 days you speak to a tier 2?

Thanks guys and congrats to everyone who got their card :)

Hi Puffers,

So I do not remember where I read this, But someone on here needed to get in contact with a tier 2 officer, so they dialed the normal phone number and when someone picked up they said that they were previously speaking to a tier 2 and the phone got disconnected. It worked for them and it is pretty clever LOL. Try this and see what happens.
