Guys, received our EAD cards with my son, went to the SSA applied for our ssn cards, took the receipt numbers, they said to wait up to 4 weeks untill they varify us in the system, hopefully will be quicker than that....

Just went back from DPS to renew my Driver License, they said they couldn't renew my DL due to DPS system couldn't let me go through, they said the problem is from USCIS couldn't update the system. They sent the request to update the system then tell me I will get the notice once system is updated. I may try to come back later around 10 days. What the heck the system doing, I need my DL to drive to work.

I did wait almost 2 years for my visa available to be able to send I-485.

A check of $1070 was cashed by USCIS Chicago on 06/08/2015

Biometrics Appointment on July 1st, 2015

EAD is approved on August 10th 2015 (73 days)

Received EAD card on August 19th 2015

Sent renew EAD on April 9th 2016

Got interview notice on March 30th 2016

USCIS received on April 11th 2016

Interview Scheduled on May 3rd 2016

Approved on the spot - Handed print out approval notice.

Received 10 years GC in hand on May 7th 2016

Don't worry, that's the same problem like SSA has, they just need some time to varify us. I had the same issue with my DL last year, even SSA could varify me without any problem but DMV couldn't do that, but they sent me a letter in abt 1 week that I can come back again.

My update is that i just received the receipt in the mail for my EAD/AP i hope to get the card soon. Good luck everyone on obtaining ur ssn, drivers licensee, ability to travel abroad and emplployment. :)

Got rejection notice on May 29, 2015 for an incomplete application

Receive rejected application on June 6, 2015

Resubmit June 8, 2015

EAD and AP Approved Date : 2015-08-14

Date Combo Card Received : 2015-08-21 (Received my card about 6hrs apart on the same day they sent an e-mail that they shipped my card).

Don't worry. The approval arrived yesterday and the card today - you're nearly there now.
