Inna, can I use the approval notice to renew my Drive License now or have to wait till get the card? Any advices?

Married on 10/08/2012

I-130 sent on 09/15/2013

Priority day is 09/16/2013

I-130 was approved on 11/15/2013

I did wait almost 2 years for my visa available to be able to send I-485.

AOS

I-485 and I-765 were sent on 05/29/2015

USCIS Received Date June 02, 2015 

A check of $1070 was cashed by USCIS Chicago on 06/08/2015

Biometrics Appointment on July 1st, 2015

EAD is approved on August 10th 2015 (73 days)

Received EAD card on August 19th 2015

Sent renew EAD on April 9th 2016

Got interview notice on March 30th 2016

USCIS received on April 11th 2016

Interview Scheduled on May 3rd 2016

Approved on the spot - Handed print out approval notice.

Received 10 years GC in hand on May 7th 2016

N-400 

Filed online on 02/02/2021

NOA online on 02/02/2021

Received NOA in mail on 02/10/2021

Reuse Biometrics NOA online 02/19/2021

Received  in mail Reuse Biometrics NOA on  03/01/2021

I don't think you can, I guess at DMV they need the actual card, I would do the same, but I will wait few more days to not come back there again, plus before that I have to renew my SSN to married name...

But you can try, who knows maybe it will work for you!

I have exactly the same great news, cards were mailed for me and my son today, Aug.17th. Can't wait to get them:)

App didn't work for me either this time, only emails. Literary got notices 15 mins ago?

I saw your update, congrats!! I just checked and mine says my card is mailed too! I checked earlier today and it hadn't updated yet. The app has not worked for me at all and I have not got any emails or texts since the initial ones way back in june. oh well.

Congs Inna and other guys got the great update on EAD card today. I checked my case 1 hour ago and saw nothing changes, now is show that my card was mailed today too, yeah yeah yeah. Can't wait to get the card, hopefully it will come in 2-3 days

I fear that I'm not going to be getting anything for a long while, though. My local office is processing Sept 2014 :wow:

Met 2008. Moved in together 2010. Married 2015. Baby Z joined us 2017 . :wub:

AOS Timeline 350 days

 

May 31/15 - Sent AOS/EAD/AP to USCIS

June 4/15 - Email and text notifications they were recieved

June 10/15 - NOA1 for AOS/EAD/AP Dated June 1

June 17/15- Change of address confirmation

June 22/15- Biometrics appointment received

July 1/15- Biometrics appointment done(5 minute appointment, 8 hour round trip drive <_< )

August 5/15 - Change of address submitted for new location

August 8/15 - Mobile/E-mail notifications for approved EAD/AP :)

August 17/15 - Change of address confirmation after calling in

August 17/15 - EAD/AP Combo card mailed out(To the wrong address, and then lost by USPS)

September 3/15 - Contacted USCIS and was told to re-apply with a new application and fees?! Put in a service request online for lost card, and a complaint

September 8/15 - USPS found & returned card to USCIS

September 15/15 - Ombudsman contacted USCIS

September 17/15 - Card mailed back out

September 19/15 - EAD/AP Combo card finally in hand

September 22/15 - NPIW letter received, dated September 9/2015 estimated 6 month wait

October 13-21/15 - Traveled using AP to visit parents & ship the rest of our belongings out west

November 27-30/15 - Traveled using AP

December 28/15- RFE hard copy, waiting on documents from Canada

January 31-February 7/16 - Traveled using AP

February 10/16 - Sent in RFE, delivered Feb 16

April 16/16 - Service request filed, RFE was never updated online

May 12 - Approved email and status update dated May 10. Service request never was assigned or solved, though.

May 14 - Greencard in hand!

Damn, no luck today, just went home from my company, my employer asked for the card, they don't accept the approval notice. But a good thing is they said whenever I get the card they will ket me take my job. Also came to DPS for renew my DL, they also need the card instead of the approval notice. Look like approval notice is useless, we should wait for the card. Hopefully the card will come today!
