We (well, my husband) will need it to get back in to the US after we are done. I don't know if it's kosher to have someone check our mail and send it to us while we are away as I'm guessing it will arrive shortly after we are supposed to leave (if it doesn't miraculously arrive before we have to go!).

arghhhhh! keeping my fingers tightly crossed that the card production process is extra speedy! :)

I think they require you to sign for it-they won't just leave that document in the mailbox. However, USCIS is supposed to send you a tracking number once they have mailed the card.

From what I've read in other threads, nobody ask for sign, they just leave the card in the mailbox like a regular letters, but they do suppose to give a tracking number:) Edited by Inna&Chris

Hypothetically speaking I will get a waiver and it will take me 14 months to get my GC. WIll I remove my GC condition after 2 yers of my marriage or 2 years couting from receiving my GC? Just being curious :)

Removing the condition always counting from the date of the first GC not from your marriage date! Edited by Inna&Chris

Actually, I think I didn't get the question right, if people have their interview at the moment when their marriage passed 2 years they probably get 10 years GC

I do not think it works like that. You still have to get your 2 years GC first, and then apply for the 10 year one
