At some point it is good, but wish to have my EAD approval already:)

I understand. We all wish to start working soon and contributing to our households but unfortunately we have no control over the approval. It will come when it's supposed to come.

We were vacationing on the east coast for a week not expecting any updates since my fiancee completed the biometrics in early July...but had a nice surprise waiting in my mailbox when we returned as we received the letter with our scheduled interview for the I-485! Still waiting on EAD/AP but now we can start to prep for the interview - there is a long list of documents they want, though a lot of them are already prepared given the K1 and AOS applications we submitted.

I was really shocked at getting the interview notice - I had resigned myself to likely receiving a waiver and having a long process. It does seem somewhat random as we have not had RFEs and are coming from a quick turnaround of a K-1 visa. I have heard the interview can be tougher though - anyone have any good guides for what to expect?

@codycody our notice for interview to be scheduled was dated 7/23 and we have received it within the week (not sure exact date since we were out of town) - you should check if your letter got lost in the mail or something. Our interview date is Aug 26 and if your notice of interview was dated 7/9 (14 days earlier than mine), your interview date may be coming up soon...though I am in LA and there may be different wait times than in Houston where you are.

So guys, there is no news to anyone from our thread? Keep checking the site and it's killing me, no updates, does anybody know if they suppose to update the date before the actual approval, cause mine haven't changed yet, still the same date 06/03/2015 for all the cases.....

Still no update. Now one month since I did biometrics

For me it's 63 days today since they got my papers, hopefully don't need to call them still have 12 days till it marks 75:)

Based on VJ members timeline,

EAD, the last person got EAD with filed date on May 23rd 2015

AOS, S Wood got her Interview Letter (IL) on 2015-08-17 with filed date 2015-05-30 California

M&A got their IL on 2015-08-25 with filed date 2015-06-12 Manchester NH...

and I see alot applicants got their ILs pretty soon.

For me, I am planning to call USCIS on next Tuesday 2015-08-11 when my cases (AOS and EAD) reaches 75 days without any update . My case has been showed ready to be interviewed for over a month.

From what date we suppose to count 75 days, from the date we sent documents? Or seems more correct to me- since the date they sent notice that they accepted your papers with the same date USCIS website shows.....

If from from the first NOA date then you still have to wait abt two more weeks!

Count form the day you sent out your packet. USCIS processing time for EAD is 3 months, so it should be done before 3 months. Normally your EAD will be approved in 75 days, then EAD card order and production, send it out to you, that processing will take 10-15 days. Totally 75days + 15days = 90 days.

Yes I know that, but for some reason I always thought they count from the first NOA date.....

@Inna, I have been following your timeline and know that on this Tuesday August 11th 2015, your EAD will hit 75days, so you should call them if it hasn't been approved before that day.

Lol, yeah I'm trying to, but can't stop thinking abt it any way. Sorry for my complaining here every day, but I know we are all here at the same boat and understand each other....
