Right. I want an answer too, cause all this is causing confusing for people who did biometrics before or the same time as the OP codycody, cause he/she wouldn't have to contact USCIS, more than to prepare for tier interview.

AOS Date Filed : 2015-05-27

Got rejection notice on May 29, 2015 for an incomplete application

Receive rejected application on June 6, 2015

Resubmit June 8, 2015

Delivered June 9, 2015

NOA Date : 2015-06-16

Bio. Appt. : 2015-07-06

EAD and AP Approved Date : 2015-08-14

Date Combo Card Received : 2015-08-21 (Received my card about 6hrs apart on the same day they sent an e-mail that they shipped my card).

Receive Potential Interview Waiver Letter: September 9, 2015 sigh!!
AOS Approved without interview 2015-10-08 :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :star: 3 MONTHS AND 22 DAYS AFTER NOA1 (F)

I didn't receive an approval for my EAD yet! Thats why I did not write the approval date on my signature.

Sorry for the confusing friends. But a good news is the last person got an EAD approval with Filed day on May 23rd 2015. We are next guys.

We were vacationing on the east coast for a week not expecting any updates since my fiancee completed the biometrics in early July...but had a nice surprise waiting in my mailbox when we returned as we received the letter with our scheduled interview for the I-485! Still waiting on EAD/AP but now we can start to prep for the interview - there is a long list of documents they want, though a lot of them are already prepared given the K1 and AOS applications we submitted.

I was really shocked at getting the interview notice - I had resigned myself to likely receiving a waiver and having a long process. It does seem somewhat random as we have not had RFEs and are coming from a quick turnaround of a K-1 visa. I have heard the interview can be tougher though - anyone have any good guides for what to expect?

@codycody our notice for interview to be scheduled was dated 7/23 and we have received it within the week (not sure exact date since we were out of town) - you should check if your letter got lost in the mail or something. Our interview date is Aug 26 and if your notice of interview was dated 7/9 (14 days earlier than mine), your interview date may be coming up soon...though I am in LA and there may be different wait times than in Houston where you are.

Hope for the best for everyone :)

First, Congs Viraj,

As you mentioned, USCIS local is different, Interview is scheduled belong to the location. Because I am living in a hot area of Houston so there are a lot of people is getting in line to be called :(. Talk about EAD, I will call USCIS next month to ask about my case. I have a friend, after 75 days not yet an update on her case, so she called USCIS and one day later her Case had been changed to Card order production. We should call after 75 days guy, we have that right.

I found out because of the letter in the mail - since we were traveling I had not checked the online status all week (was quite refreshing!) like I normally obsessively do but I see now that the status has been updated online as well
