For those with an RFE, does it say Additional Evidence or Initial Evidence? Wondering if this makes a difference at all? Will be interested to find out when people get their letters. Mine won't come today; mail has already come and gone, nothing for me there :(

Ours is titled "Initial Evidence" but in the body it says additional. Seems like a lot of these have to do with requesting tax returns. I'll let everyone know what the letter says when we receive it.

I had a sneaking suspicion about it being tax returns. My co-sponsor is filing in October (which she does every year apparently), so they probably want some better proof of income for this year. It's a shame because she can easily sponsor me, but at the end of the day they can't see that without some hard facts and figures.

I just hope I can muster a good enough response to their RFE :/

Hi,

I had my biometric appointment on the 1st July but the status on the USCIS page has not changed since 3rd June where it mentions. 'On June 3, 2015, we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485'.

Is there any cause for concern?

Thanks

Guys, always forget to ask you, do you use this app for your android or IPhone, calls "USCIS Case Status Notifier"? Who still doesn't, highly recomend to download this app and add your cases numbers over there, this way you will get notice as soon as there is any update on your case, and you don't need to check USCIS site all the time. I remember I downloaded this app even before I sent my papers when I got my first notices with case numbers I added them there and right after that got notifications abt my cases, it shows exactly the same info which USCIS site says they upload the info every day. Any way just wanted to share with you, really great app.

For people that are interested, got my RFE in the mail today. Asked me to resubmit a page of the affidavit of support titled 'Household size'. Unfortunately they didn't tell me which one (as i have a co sponsor) so it must be a good idea for me to send both surely?

Also, for those wondering about RFEs affecting EADs, my RFE only had my Green Card case number on top, NOT my EAD case number, perhaps suggesting that it won't affect the process speed of the EAD.
