UPDATE: i'll be attempting a walk-in for my biometrics tomorrow afternoon(9 days before the appt date) since I live within walking distance from the ASC. hoping they will allow it without any issues.

No update yet.. According to other peoples timeline, I think we will get our EAD/AP convo cards by middle of september.

September? Where are you getting this estimation? I would imagine we'd get approved mid-August. At least that is what my timeline estimator says...??? :huh2:

We got a request for initial evidence.. its listing all the things we already sent them, marriage certificate, tax returns, entry stamp and so on. I am so pissed...

2012: met the woman of my life :wub:

June 2014: filed I-129F

May 2015: visa in hand - got married (L)

June 2015: filed I-485 and I-765

October 2015: EAD

November 2015: Potential Interview Waiver Notice

February 2016: AOS Case transferred to San Francisco office

March 2016: GC in hand (no interview)

I'm sorry to hear that. Incompetency at it's finest. Did they update anything on your USCIS account or did you simply find out through snail mail?

Your guess is as good as mine, but I think it's partially due to too many hands in the pot. Physical paperwork has a greater chance of being misplaced and lost when it's transferred to different areas of USCIS and different adjudicators.

They happen to lose applicants documents all the time, you just happen to get caught with some reckless worker. So sorry, please resend ASAP

Receive rejected application on June 6, 2015

Resubmit June 8, 2015

Delivered June 9, 2015

NOA Date : 2015-06-16

Bio. Appt. : 2015-07-06

EAD and AP Approved Date : 2015-08-14

Date Combo Card Received : 2015-08-21 (Received my card about 6hrs apart on the same day they sent an e-mail that they shipped my card).

Receive Potential Interview Waiver Letter: September 9, 2015 sigh!!

I just don't understand why they need EVERYTHING again. Its not one document, its literally everything.

I was thinking the middle of August too, so wish it could be sooner. I cant even have the thought of thinking we wont get our card before mid september.

Oh everything.. smh. did u make duplicate copies? I hope you did. This is just crazy. What did the update say on their site?

This is really crazy and frustrating, but unfortunately it happens once in a while, depends of their responsibility:( Any way, hope you have all those papers they need, try to send them as soon as u can, good luck!

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved

They lost my EAD application too.

I've read your post abt that, that's unbelievable, I knew smth is wrong, cause they never send notices separately from each other, just can't get it, how come they can lose papers so easy....Hope you have your EAD paperwork duplicate to send them back ASAP. I guess they will send you biometrics appointment after they get your respond. Good luck!

I looked at march AOS filers.. and they were getting their EAD/AP cards by mid June if I remember correctly. I know it seems soo farr, and then we will have to wait for our green cards.

AOS Timeline (L)

March 23: Marriage

June 10: Mailed AOS via USPS 2 day priority delivery

June 12: USCIS Received paperwork

June 17: NOA1-Text messages confirming AP/EAD and AOS

June 23: NOA1- Hard copy AP/EAD and AOS

June 27: Biometrics Letter in the mail for July 7th

July 7: Biometrics Appointment

August 21: EAD Approval (Email Notification)

August 24: AP Approval (Email Notification)

August 25: Hard Copy NOA2 Received for EAD/AP

August 25: EAD/AP Card is Mailed/Document Production

August 28: EAD/AP Combo Card Received

October 8: AOS update: Card/ Document production (NO NPIW letter or Interview)

October 9: AOS "Decision"

October 13: Notice to Conditional Permanent Resident Alien letter received

October 19: Green card delivered :-)
