Hi anyone from june filers still waiting for case number? Been waiting 41days still no case number.. :( is this normal? My f and i are worrying now :(

My NOA2 says:

"If you have not received any correspondence from the NVC within 30 days, you may contact the NVC by email at NVCINQUIRY@state.gov. You will need to enter the USCIS receipt number from this approval notice in the subject line. In order to receive information about your petition, you will need to include the Petitioner's name and date of birth, and the Applicant's name and date of birth, in the body of the email."

Maybe that will help?

guys whats nexr to ISSUED??

Not sure what you are asking. If you say "next to issued" then that means the step prior to issue and that would be AP. If you are asking what comes after ISSUED then the visa is prepared in your passport and delivered to you using the instructions from your Embassy.

Explain a little more if that does not answer your question.

First go here for instructions on verifying your delivery address. This is where it will be delivered to. Your fiancée can't pick up from anyone unless he has communicated this to USEM. So first see where he or you said you wanted your delivery. Then follow the instructions below to track your visa.

Track Your Visa from USEM to 2GO. PLUS!

TRACK YOUR VISA/PASSPORT AT THE EMBASSY

State Dept. visa tracking: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx? (not updated or as detailed as the USEM website)

Here is a link for requirements for receiving your passport and the visa, there are also options for tracking the status of your visa/passport and where it is currently. You can also change delivery options. http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-passportretrieve.asp#trackingoptions

If your application was temporarily refused under Section 221(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, you can now check the status of your application online. http://manila.usembassy.gov/adminprocessing2.html

TRACK YOUR PASSPORT/VISA THROUGH 2GO

http://supplychain.2...trace/index.asp Enter your MNL number or passport number or UID number off the embassy confirmation letter (online confirmation page by bar code).

2GO CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR CHECKING DELIVERY

2Go customer service hotline (+632) 5287-136 is available Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

NVC has a required format that you must follow, if you wish to get a reply. If you don't follow the format then your email goes into never-never land. That's probably why you received a "no answer" to your emails. May I suggest the following:

REQUIRED SECURITY INFORMATION:

You are required to provide the following security information with each inquiry to receive a case specific response:

* NVC Case Number or USCIS Receipt Number (Place in the subject line of the e-mail).

* Petitioner's name and date of birth.

( NOTE: If the visa petition is employment-based, include the employer's company/organization name instead of the petitioner's name and date of birth. )

* Principal Applicant's name and date of birth.

Quick question...

My NOA2 says it's valid through 12/20/2015. Does that mean we need to have our interview completed before then? I'm worried that we won't get one scheduled in Montreal before then because they're so backlogged.

The NVC gets thousands of emails and it takes time to answer. If everyone is sending two and three times, well you can image how broken that system is.

Heads up. It will take 7 - 10 days business for NVC to receive your file from USCIS after you receive the NOA2, then another 2 - 5 business days for NVC to get your file in their system and get the MNL # for USEM. Best time to Call 7:00am eastern time for shorter wait times and use this number 603-334-0888.

Also, follow the link below for registering for myUSCIS and use your case numbers to get updated information or correspond with USCIS/NVC.

Let me know how things are going for you.

Yes and no. That is the initial date for the visa to expire, but the embassy will extend it up to a year after which you will have to reapply and pay a new fee.

This is what I found:

Basically the consular office can extend the approval if visa has not been issued within the 4 month period. I will call USCIS tomorrow because mine expires in November and my interview date is December so just to make sure call them =)

Well here is the newest update: My fiance sent me an offline while I was at work that he got his interview date but was a stinker and said that it was too soon and he needed to schedule it out a ways. I was thinking how is that possible with interviews being scheduled in October. After reading his ten other messages I saw that the interview was scheduled for September 15th! There is definitely no way we can do this as he needs the money to pay for his medical and the plane ticket down to Sydney and he doesn't get paid until right before the 15th. I'm hoping he can figure out a way and not have to reschedule or get them to push it back a few weeks so he is set for it. Basically I'm in shock as this is more than a month earlier than expected! I'll keep you guys updated on what we end up with for the interview. I won't update my timeline for this until we know the exact date of the interview.

This journey isn't easy...we went over many hurdles along the way... We are together now, 4 years going strong... It's never impossible, it is a matter of having the strength and love to conquer all things along the way!
