Some people got their MNL case number 20 days after approval. our NOA 2 is july 29 :(

Just like what you've said "some". Be patient. It will come and eventually you will be ending this journey soon. Stay positive. :)

To Philippines petitioners,

I just realized the beneficiary will need to have both priority date and case number to book an interview date at Manila location.

The confusion was I thought K-1 petition does not have a priority date and actually it is NOA1 date. My poor fiancee was keep typing MNL case number, because the priority date was left blank as I told her to do so, the form did not pass the edit check and the error message could be misleading and make one's to think something wrong with the case number.

In addition, Manila Embassy placed K-1 visa under Immigration visa category somehow. You will not be able to find it in Non-Immigration Visa category.

Hope this help!

Same for belgium, to book an interview, you need to look for immigration visa procedures and not for non-immigrant. I was completely lost and spent the entire night last night figuring it out, luckily now I figured it out!

My NOA1 date was on June 17th. Been over 60 days and there's no rfe or noa2. Called yesterday and they told me the same thing that it takes 5 months. I spoke to atier1 officer and same thing again. I told them that there are people that got their NOA2 and their cases were filed after mine. My cases is in the california service center (csc). I thought they were fast. What options do you think I have?

I cannot imagine what it must feel like to be in your shoes, honestly my noa 2 took 38 days and I was already "giving up hope" in a way, seeing other people being approved much faster.

Sometimes it just happens to take longer. I`ve seen explenations on this such as, maybe your file is waiting on the desk of your adjucator and he just has a long vacation time. If they`re out for the month but your case has already been given to them, you`re, to say it frankly, S*** out of luck...

If you think you have a good case then I`m sure you can expect the NOA2, or a simple RFE sometime soon though, I don`t believe it will take 5 months.

Don`t give up, there`s always people who have it worse so focus on the good, soon you will be together and this will all be over.

Good luck, keep us updated!

if it helps you at all, our noa2 was july 23rd, we called countless times, in the beginning we just got the "call back in 35 days" message, then we couldn`t get in, almost as if we were being blocked out, trying 30-40 times without getting in.

Tuesday I called again, and got in after a few tries, saying the case had left nvc on monday (called on the 18th, case had left on the 17th) and we got our case numbers.

Still in Transit to my embassy now though.

Good luck with yours!
