Hello June Filers,

My Filipina Fiance and I received our NOA 2 last week. We had one RFE related to IMBRA, but fortunately we were approved. (Very stressful for us) I don't understand the process from here. How do we know the NVC has received our petition and how do we know it has been sent to the embassy and how do we know the embassy received it. Thank you for your help. Good luck and God bless.

Hey there. Congratulations on the approval. Well you said that you just got approved last week. You can start calling NVC after two weeks to get your case number. They usually notify thru email that they got your case but sometimes they don't. It actually differs from time to time. Usually it's the petitioner who always checks on NVC from time to time on what had happened to the case. Once you get your case number you can check at the ceac website if the case had been in transit or received by the consulate. Btw, your fiance can already proceed (once you get your case number thru phone call to NVC) to fill the DS-160, Medical, pay the visa fee, and schedule an interview. hi guys can i have my medical already even i have not yet received the letter from embassy? i got my mnl case # already from nvc and checked that it was in the embassy on August 04. thanks!!

Yes. Please check Hank_'s website, it has the details on a fast track to getting the visa for the Philippines (beneficiary). Just look for any of his post you will see his website on his post signature.

on the Affidavit of support I-134 form at the bottom I know we are supposed to write

N/A (K1 VISA PROCESS FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE)but do we tick any box for I do intend or I do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person?

It does not say in this example, but I just want to make sure.

We can`t seem to get in, we called last night after 9, we call around 10 we call around 3 but nothing nada sadly, hopefully we`ll get in today!

hi. im just wondering they might look for the letter from the embassy if I will go to the clinic at Saint Lukes Extention. I am planning to have my medical on Monday but a bit hesitant since they might check for the letter from embassy and I dont have it yet

We have just received our interview date for the 27th of October at the Sydney Consulate. Things moved pretty quickly. It's a ways out but we're grateful that it has gotten to where it is now as fast as it had.
