Received my RFE today (6 days from online notification) which I thought was a pretty good turn around! They need my long form birth certificate (I originally submitted a card).

No big deal because I found out after I submitted and requested 3 copies of my original birth certificate from Florida. Now I'll be sending one back to them tomorrow in the provided envelope (and one to my fiance)!

I'm so relieved that's all they needed.

Stupid question ...

what is the benefit of having our NVC case number? This doesn't change anything in the process, does it? It just lets us see where our case is?

Thanks !
