For me it took exactly 1 week to get my visa after my interview.

Your country is a bit bigger so I suppose 2 weeks max, don`t book your ticket before you have your visa in hand though, just in case it gets lost or something.

Thanksgiving is 25th of November so you`ll definitely be able to spend thanksgiving with your partner :D

Congrats on passing the interview!

I myself am leaving here on October 25th, right in time for halloween and pumpkin carving :D[/quote

Wow just 1 week? That's fast! Congrats to you! You will be with your love soon :)

My fiancée interviewed at Manila Embassy on 9/22 and Visa status updated to "Issued" on 10/1. Not bad at all.

Yeah it went fast, it was a bit surreal!! My NOA2 was July 23rd, and I had my passport in hand exactly 2 months after that.

I`m selling all my stuff at the moment it`s hectic but I`m getting there!

Soon your countdown will begin too!!

Hello all,

very excited to announce that my fiancé had his interview in Paris today and we are approved ! Visa should be back to him in about 10 days. We are buying his plane ticket tonight!!!! He will be with me by Nov 1 (giving his official notice at work today).

And, we're all set for our November 28th wedding !!!!! (though still plenty of planning to do)

Thanks to everyone for support and help though this process. We will write our review of our appointment within the next few days.

Good luck to everyone that is still waiting. I know it is hard to be patient! Hang in there!

I am moving within less than a month,

What will I need to do when I get there?

What I think I know so far:

1) Go to the SSN office and apply for a SSN.

2) When I get my SSN we can go get a marriage certificate? How long will it take to get my SSN? Or do we not have to wait for my SSN to get married?

Will need: Passport, International birth certificate. Anything else?

3) GET MARRIED AND ENJOY!!!!

4) Apply for AOS?

5)???

AHHHHHHHHHH

I have details on that process at my website. Use the link below in the signature at the twisting arrow and use the tab "USA - What's next". I list the steps that you can take to answer your question.

Hello Guys! Please help and advice! :(

Last October 13 (Tuesday) I received an email from US Consulate in Kuwait that my interview will be on October 26. October 14 & 15 were holidays in Kuwait so wasn't able to process any requirements from ministry.

Medical- pending vaccination

NBI clearance from Philippines - still need to send to Philippines to process ,I told my brother to scan a copy of NBI clearance once done there

Question: is it okay to bring scanned copy of NBI clearance during the interview in case the courier gets delay sending it back to me

Police Clearance - how long will it take the process of getting it in Kuwait

( what if it won't finish on my interview date )

Question: s it okay to just bring the paper that police clearance is on process?

Evidence of Domicile - is it okay for the voter's registration as long as I have my address in Philippines written?

I'm afraid if I don't have original copies of police and nbi clearance , if only scanned copies my application will be denied.

Please help me to clear up my mind... I'm nervous! :(

Hi everyone.I Need your help.I received packet 3 from the Embassy in Nairobi Kenya and part of it says that the I-129F is valid for 4 months from the initial date of approval from USCIS. It further says that we should submit our K1 visa application (Ds 160 form) before or on 2nd January 2016.

My question is: Does this mean that we must also schedule for an interview date before 2nd January2016?

Thank you.
