Some women look real hot bald, but for that I think they have to have a gorgeous face, like Charlize Theron, I don't think Britney has a gorgeous face, if she wasn't famous she'd be some other girl that nobody would pay much attention.

Green-eyed-- I think I remember you mentioning once that you were a social scientist or something can you help me understand this---

It is suprising to me ( after reading some of the other threads) is that people seem to have more compassion for convicted sex offenders and other criminals in California jails than a woman who is obviously having a rough time after a nasty,messy public divorce or a woman who recently died not long after her eldest son and left a baby behind with no mother.

P.S --on a slightly different tangent--

Afew years ago I used to be in broadcasting ( albeit in the military satellite system) so my audience was NOT that huge, but I was well known to the majority... anyway I had to have surgery that left my hair looking like Cyndi Lauper ( half bald) and most of the reactions I got were very supportive; however the uninformed few (who did not know what was going on ) seemed to relish it and come up with all kinds of snippy/biznatchy one liners and cutting remarks; despite the fact that they too were in the Military and my service in Bosnia was the cause of the surgery in the first place. I have never understood that- is it jealousy that compels some to immediatly swoop and attack well known people when they do not know the background story and they look less than picture perfect?

Don't know if anyone else posted something similar but, I know when parents have to give hair samples for drug testing in child custody battles, sometimes they'll shave their heads to avoid being caught with drugs in their systems. Usually it's the guy who does that though! lol.
