Just off the phone to NVC, after getting cut off by one operator and on hold for an hour I found out my case arrived yesterday (June 22nd).She said to wait 30 days for the case number to be assigned. Sigh, another wait :)

In order for your IV fee to be unlocked, your DS-261 must be reviewed. It takes 30 days to review it, OR you can call and have a rep review it over the phone with you. Not all reps will do this, so so

This week it will have been a month since I sent in our AOS and IV packages to the NVC. I know some months are busier than others. Does anyone know how long (in general) it's taking them to review the AOS and IV packages right now? I'm hoping to not be stuck here for much longer..... :ranting:

08-06-14 : Married

08-22-14 : I-130 Sent

08-27-14 : NOA1

01-16-15 : NOA2

02-24-15 : NVC Received

02-28-15 : Submit DS-261 (originally)

04-03-15 : Resubmit DS-261 (DONT TOUCH THE LINK WHEN WAITING FOR DS-261 TO BE REVIEWED!!!!)

Better call NVC and check about it. That's the best thing to do.

What is your scan date? My SD is May 8th. Went into supervisor review exactly a week ago. Now it is Day 46 since scan date and no news yet.

2012/04/22: Introduced by a mutual friend in SA
2012/05/10: Officially in love! (L) (L) (L):wub:
2014/03/17: Married (happiest day of our lives)
2014/03/26: He leaves for US; I stay here and begin gathering documents :(
2014/06/30: Finally able to file I-130 (Nebraska)
2015/01/21: NOA2 (6 months and 19 days)
2015/02/24: Pay both AOS and IV fees
2015/05/05: Submit AOS packet
2015/05/05: Submit IV packet
2015/05/08: Scan date :dance:

2015/06/16: Case placed under 'supervisor review' :ranting:

2015/07/01: CASE COMPLETE!! (54 days since scan date) :goofy::dancing: :joy: :rofl:

2015/07/09: Received case complete confirmation email from NVC

2015/07/14: Received interview date via telephone from NVC

2015/07/15: Received P4 email

2015/08/20: INTERVIEW!!!!

2015/08/20: DENIED 😢  - Instructed to file I-601

she sounded like a grandma so oh well lol, I said I just need u to review it they have it in their system they told me I said just click it please, she said I'll get someone to look into it I'm like why not youuu . And no I didn't and many don't cause their too impatient, all that matters is the barcode sheet so they can scan it and know it's for your case . It isn't going to delay it or anything mine got review 33 days after checklist exact same time it took the first time .

Any luck on getting your DS260 reviewed? We have been calling since yesterday telling that's we have left to complete the case, but yet, apparently they can't just review it.

Any luck on getting your DS260 reviewed? We have been calling since yesterday telling that's we have left to complete the case, but yet, apparently they can't just review it.

We are afraid it will take another month :(

ps. We got a checklist asking for the DS260. Now that we submitted it online, should we mail them a printed DS260 receipt/confirmation in response to the checklist letter? Sounds counterintuitive, but that's how it is at the NVC.

I'm not having much luck either I only got through once and she was crabby and didn't understand what I wanted her name is sue so we can cross that supervisor off for helping us lol, but I know it's possible I've seen someone early in this month on this thread get it done . And I'd ignore it you got it before you were able to fill it out more than likely . If I find one to do it I'll post their name .

Spoke now with a nice lady called Daisy. She was a phone rep, not a supervisor. Told us she can't escalate the DS260 for review until 30 days for it being filled, but tried to connect us a supervisor (none available at the time) and apparently placed us on a call-back list.

So, no luck. We might have to wait another 30 days just for a single form to be looked at.

Checklist help.

NVC has sent us checklist yesterday to resent the i864 for the joint sponsor. As they stated the mistakes were ----

[x] In Part 1. Basis for Filing Affidavit of Support, please correct the following...
[x] Items 1.a. through 1.f. You must select one reason (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e, or 1f) for filing the affidavit of support. [x]

[x] In Part 3, Information on the Immigrant(s) You are sponsoring, please correct the following... [x] Item 1. You must indicate whether or not you are sponsoring the person named in Part 2.

But i clearly remember & i have the copies that sent, where i filled up the following lines. I dont know why they sent us checklist for these.

I'm on my 80 days of waiting ds260 to be reviewed! !!!! 42 days of supervisor review is also over still no response! ! Called nvc day before yesterday but never been able to talk to supervisor!! Nvc rep..said it's on process for review as they always says same to me!!! Any advise from anyone?

I don't ge this entire process, it 35/30 days today...scan date may 18th and still nothing...maybe I will call today....I am so sorry I am bitching about completing the case, while all of you guys are having problem with ds 260....hopefully soon they will resolve this issue

It might not take that long to get you case number and invoice number. Just keep calling every week that's what I did and got mine 2 weeks later. Now if I can get my case unlocked to assign an agent and pay fees :clock:
