:wow:

come on ppl, please stop being mean to each other, i know this process is making all of us upset and we all get really pissed sometimes, but dont forget those feelings dont go towards this group, they go towards the process.

i know what im talking about...as i was waiting for my daughters NOA2 which took almost a year i was getting frustrated by reading posts like " we've been at uscis for 3 month and we still dont have NOA2....yada...yada" it took alot sometimes to not to post back something mean :( i always had to remind myself, its not the ppl here, its the process...

breathe!

dont waste ur energy on fighting or arguing about who waited longer. sometimes we just have to rant, to get some support, doesnt matter for how long we've been waitin- a week, a month or a year. i had up and downs here too, but i always got support...i'd get crushed if somebody here would of attacked me just cuz i didnt wait long enough( in their opinion)

so just be kind and supportive, we all need that here

sending hugs for everyone (F)

How old is your daughter iri?

Finally sent the fees by mail and the documents in speed post. It will get deliver today. While I was in uscis and in the process of upgrading our petition, I thought these are the steps we can finish it off in a weeks time. I was having all my documents ready month ago... But now we ended up on this technical issue.

Its frustrating, none of us have patient to wait.. But don't lose hope and never give up.. It may take couple of more months for us to be with our loved one, with the hope and support of this group we can surely succeed. No use of fighting and arguing. For me this is the only group of people who can understand how I feel right now. Not my family or friends. They don't know anything about the process and how hard we fight to move forward.

Lets pray together, All the Gods in this universe shed some light on us, and wish the miracle to happen. Everyday before I go to bed, I wish when I wake up I should get an email from this group saying that NVC technical issue is resolved and all of us are moving forward. Lets Pray together. Together we can win..

This process doesn't really require an attorney, unless there is special condition that require special attention (i.e. previous visa denial, overstaying a visa, etc.) or you want the convenience of having someone taking care of things for you - otherwise, you can just read up about the process here or on the official websites and do it yourself, like most here.

If you got 2 RFEs it seems like your attorney is not doing what he/she was supposed to do: to make sure your documents are perfect and this process gets done fast without any hiccups.

As you said, they get the same e-mails as you at the same time. They do not receive any special treatment at the NVC, there's no secret "attorney hotline" that will answer them first. They can't really expedite things once they have been submitted.

They may not be able to expedite but having an attorney completely skips the waiting time for DS-261, since the attorney is automatically assigned.

As soon as we'd been informed the NVC had received documentation from USCIS we were able to pay the fees and fill in/submit the DS-260.

Looking around on the forum seems to skip up to 40 days waiting. I'm happy with that!

My husband just called NVC. The annoyed woman kept telling him to mail our IV fee (invoiced on 6/11; site still says $0.00) and then put him on hold for 10 minutes. She returned and my husband told her that we don't want to mail the fee (due to the fact that it seems like nobody is receiving the DS-260 anyway, but he didn't mention this part) and she told him that NVC would call him back...? He asked about being added to the "programmers' list" and she ignored the question. She confused him at the end, so I'm not exactly sure what she said.

He also asked about our documents (Scan Date: 5/18) and she said that they are under review now and we should receive an email about them "shortly." Hoping shortly means today or within the next day or so...

his check didn't cash through, so he was able to go pay online . They won't refund you so don't bother I've already barked up that tree lol .

Is anyone thinking about just paying again this IV fee online, even if that means potentially loosing 325 $ ?

The wait could last for weeks, maybe more, and paying online apparently gives access to the ds260 quickly

I am considering it, yes.

I see the $325 fee but whenever I check the box and click on the pay button, the "total amount due" line changes back to $0 and nothing happens.
