Our story is the same as Toozler. We mailed a money order because we couldn,t pay online. They receives and cashed our check way before they solved the website issue.

Website issue is solved? I'm still unable to pay the IV fee after receiving the invoice.

Help please

I just got of the phone with NVC

And was informed that our case is in the administrative processing?!

He said its nothing to worry about but there is nothing else for me to do but to wait.

I was hoping to be receiving IV bill

I am so lost

What does that AP means at this stage?!

Please help

This is what I found researching om the topic of AP:

Administrative Processing at NVC

The NVC has a process of randomly pulling a certain, unknown number of "K" visa petitions for further administrative processing. It is unknown what exactly takes place during this process. As it is in AP post interview. It may be background/name checks and/or document verification. Some CSR's at NVC have said that they are "verifying documents". But the most common answer will be that "There is no timeframe for the process". There actually is a verypredictable timeframe based on VJers experience that has been shared since December 2008. The average time that a case is held during this AP is around 50 days, give or take a day or so. You can call at least once a week to ask if your file has been released out of AP and forwarded to the consulate. Most petitioners that are pulled for random AP DO receive a standard letter from NVC stating that their file will be forwarded to the embassy "within a week", this is a standard letter which is mailed out whether one is in AP or not. If you find that your case has been held at NVC for longer than a week or so; it is advisable to call and ask directly if your file is in AP.

Did you call them and asked about it ? What did NVC said ?

What does this mean ??? When I tried logging on the nvc website it says this "Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have recieved this message in error."

This is what I found on Saylins wiki page:

Step 4 - Pay IV Fee

Step 4 - Pay IV Fee

A few weeks after after you complete the DS-261, NVC will accept and add it to your case file. A few days after that, the IV bill will be invoiced and available to pay on the payment portal. You won't get an email of acceptance, so you need to call to find out when it's been accepted and added to the case file.

The IV fee is $325 per applicant.

The fee has to be paid with a US banking account on the payment portal (site linked in first section, under links). See information here [16]. If you can't or don't want to pay online, you can find a link to how to pay through the mail here[17].

  • Note: if you're getting an error message ("Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time…" or "This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted…" or "You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information."), do NOT panic. This is actually good news! If you just got your case number, then this message means NVC is inputting your case in their system. If you get this message a few days after case number generation, then it's a good possibility that NVC is invoicing your AOS bill. And if this message appears a few days after DS-261 acceptance, then there's a good chance the IV bill is being invoiced.

Website issue is solved? I'm still unable to pay the IV fee after receiving the invoice.

Website is far from solved.

Just this morning I was told again not to rely on the website.

This is what I found researching om the topic of AP:

Administrative Processing at NVC

Again,

No need to sweat over our responses. I too can pull stuff out of google and guides.

1. We are on IC1/IR1 visa, not K! And we are NOT post interview!

2. AP was not confirmed today when I called twice. I was told that our IV bill issuance was flagged for a supervisor review and that we should have received it by the beginning of last week. AND, I was told the same story after I called again and that the invoice should be generated by the end of the week.

When you call ask for a supervisor, you might be able to get more info from him/her I guess.

May I ask, when you reeceived the invoice?

Also, can you see 0.00 dollars or 325 dollars (or whatever amount you need to pay) when you click on 'pay now'?

I received 2 invoice emails (same invoice ID) on Sunday June 14. The invoice dates are June 10 and June 12.

The CEAC website shows $0.00 for the invoice amount when I click on pay now.

Wondering if the fix is gradually rolled out to users? Should I wait or go ahead and pay by mail?

:wow:

come on ppl, please stop being mean to each other, i know this process is making all of us upset and we all get really pissed sometimes, but dont forget those feelings dont go towards this group, they go towards the process.

i know what im talking about...as i was waiting for my daughters NOA2 which took almost a year i was getting frustrated by reading posts like " we've been at uscis for 3 month and we still dont have NOA2....yada...yada" it took alot sometimes to not to post back something mean :( i always had to remind myself, its not the ppl here, its the process...

breathe!

dont waste ur energy on fighting or arguing about who waited longer. sometimes we just have to rant, to get some support, doesnt matter for how long we've been waitin- a week, a month or a year. i had up and downs here too, but i always got support...i'd get crushed if somebody here would of attacked me just cuz i didnt wait long enough( in their opinion)

so just be kind and supportive, we all need that here

sending hugs for everyone (F)
