Good news guys, just got a case complete email notification, awaiting interview to be scheduled. Am sooooooooooo happy. I wish everyone a speedy case complete this new month.

In order for your IV fee to be unlocked, your DS-261 must be reviewed. It takes 30 days to review it, OR you can call and have a rep review it over the phone with you. Not all reps will do this, so so

Hi Guys,

Another month another thread!

How long do they take to review the DS-261? IF you don't call them everyday? I filled out the DS-261 on the 30th when should i pester them to review it over the phone?

24/30 for me!! Good luck! Am on hold to the NVC right now....just in case! Have you phoned them lately, Nicole?

I haven't called yet, but will tomorrow! I don't often call - I don't find it to be very helpful and it takes so much time. I'll keep you posted, hopefully a lot of us will be hearing good news this week :)

Hay guys update,

Just got off the phone with NVC the lady was very nice and wished me a happy birthday!! Lol didn't catch her name tho ?

Our documents have been reviewed and there are no issues few! SD 04/24 I was worried about A checklist so it's a relief to hear hope she wasn't lying ?

DS-260 still to be reviewed but she said is should be done any day now. Submitted May 1st so day 31 but with the holiday I suppose it's 30. Hope to get CC This week

I-130 NOA1 : 2014-10-10 Texas Service Center

I-130 Approved : 2015-03-10

NVC Received : 2015-03-25

Received DS-261 / AOS Bill : 2015-04-06

Send AOS/IV Package : 2015-04-20

NVC Received AOS/IV Package : 2015-04-24

I am tired of calling NVC it is my day 42 since I sent both packages Scan Date April 20th, sent my ds-260 April 29th and on May 7th received a checklist for ds-260 which I had submitted already they reviewed my docs and everything is fine But they are just lazy to review ds-260 don't know whats going on with this people it's been 32 days of my ds-260 today. I am affraid they don't review it before June 20th. Wanted to have interview in July but that's impossible so I hope August is my month.

When does DR stops scheduling interviews? Do u know when they update the list of appointment?

How do we find out the scan date for the docs? does it happen right when it gets to NVC or a different time and we have to call and find out?

for me IV fee is still not enabled, paid AOS fee last week which is still "In Process" status.

When does DR stops scheduling interviews? Do u know when they update the list of appointment?

NVC has not started scheduling interview for DR yet So I don't know, they spend like 15-20 days scheduling interview.

30 days, I recommend pestering them for it about a week after . Got them to do mine 13 days after on the phone .

16-MAR-2015 Mailed AOS & "Supporting Documents" (IV package)
23-MAR-2015 NVC sent email confirming they received my package
20-APR-2015 NVC sent a choice of agent form checklist?? missing...odd
20-APR-2015 Called NVC rep checked DS-261 form, yay finally!!
23-APR-2015 Received IV invoice through email but cant pay online yet... :cry:
27-APR-2015 Finally Paid IV fee
04-MAY-2015 Submitted DS-260 form
16-JUN-2015 Supervisor Review (they are so inadequate ..grrr)
13-JUL-2015 Case Complete with Supervisor on the phone

23-SEPT-2015 Interview!! - They asked for a joint sponsor - received hated 221g form (at least it wasn't a "NO")
25-NOV-2015 Finally sent the documents required with 221g form...
30-NOV-2015 They updated my case file on CEAC but still reads "Admin Processing"..(crossing fingers)

14-DEC-2015 They "touched" and update my case file at the embassy, still under AP

28-DEC-2015 They touched my file again...still under AP

29-DEC-2015 !!!! VISA ISSUED - According to CEAC site...yay!! (now waiting to see when we can pick up)

Called NVC and the guy Nio let me in hold like for 10 min he said he was having system issue well then he asked me when did I submit ds-260 I said April 29th, said hold on a sec, ok then he said everything had been review and ds-260 too but it is in a last review to check everything is fine. asked him if my case was completed and he said again it is under a last review asked him when my case was going to be complete and he said he didn't know how long that review could take. Don't understand

What do you think?
