Anyone know how long it would take them to approve or deny an expedite request ?

It varies by consulate/embassy as NVC forwards your request on to them. They then have to make a decision, then forward their decision back to NVC, and they then inform you.

has anyone had luck yet to pay the IV fee online? a week after IV bill invoice no luck for me.

We weren't able to pay online for a long time. Once they published it was an website issue with the IV fee, we mailed a money order. They received it and cashed it on May 15, we got a receipt by e-mail saying that it was received. However, it's been 25+ days and yet, it shows as unpaid and we can't file the DS-260.

Our case would have been completed on June 3rd (29 days after our scan date) but we got a checklist instead: missing DS-260.

It's a gamble. You can wait for the fee to become available or you can mail in a money order. People have been getting mixed results.

Saylin i need your help.

I got a checklist for AOS package, I've submitted the following to nvc.

1. i864 from my spouse

2. i864a for her uncle who is in the same household

3. i864a for her aunt in the same household.

and financial supporting documents

Was it alright?, i mean the forms above,

Weird from here

1. Checklist says i've to submit i864 for her uncle

2. i've to submit the proof of US residence for uncle, (which i've already submitted his US passport copy)

3. and In Part 2. Sponsor's Promise, please correct the following...(which i have the copy of what i've submitted to nvc, in which these fields are filled and signed)
[x] Item 13. The sponsor, LAW, first name of uncle, must type or print his or her name in the space provided.
[x] Item 14. The sponsor, LAW, first name of uncle, must sign the form and his or her signature must be original.
[x] Item 14. The sponsor, LAW, first name of uncle, must enter the date he or she signed the form.

Most weird they have changed my uncles last name, to 'LAW'. Has anyone had this issue?

One more, NVC rep saying one more checklist item which is missing in my checklist, that is to resubmit the i864a for my aunt. which is not showing in my checklist, NVC rep says she dont have a clue why that is happening and she will raise a request to resend the checklist,

Please reply anyone.what should i do.

Yes, I know you send in the money irder. We did the same thing.

The date comes from: on June 2nd nvc adjusted the red remark on their website that they are working on the continuing issues and they included a link on what to do if the issues still continue to exist for your specific case. In that info they say to wait until 10 days. Hence June 12.

People who tried to call before got a rep on the phone telling them to call back after the 12th.

But I understand they gave your specific case info to a computer geek to solve your iv cheque/ds260 already? And how many weeks did they say it's gonna take?

I'm really convinced this June 12 date is not a target or hard deadline for them to fix the issue.

From all responses people have been getting from the NVC, including myself before and after that notice was posted online, and the response our Senator got after we made a congressional inquiry (see pasted below), it's more like a "free beer tomorrow" sign on a bar: it will be fixed 10 days from whenever you ask.

This e-mail was dated today, June 12:

Thank you for your email concerning the immigrant visa petition filed by XXXX on behalf of YYYY with case number RDJ2015XXXXXX.

We are aware that some applicants continue to experience technical difficulties accessing Form DS-260, Form DS-261, or paying immigrant visa processing fees. We are working to address this issue and apologize for any inconvenience. Please have your constituent log back on to the website in 10 days. At this time if your constituent is still have technical difficulties, you may reach out to NVC for further instructions.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance to your office or your constituent.

When I tried logging on the nvc website it says this "Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have recieved this message in error."
