Have you tried calling NVC? After paying IV fee your DS260 should open for filling (right?)

Do we need to submit Social Security Earnings Statement, with AOS package? My husband doesn't get any benefits, so does he really need to get this statement?

So, my case was shipped to the NVC on June 4. Of course probably a bit prematurely, since the NVC seems to have fallen apart, I am trying to complete all the paperwork so I can send in the IV/AOS package ASAP. For the I864, does my husband have an A number somewhere? I did not see it on the NOA2. Thanks

I am really losing my patience. I gv time till 18th for this system to allow me to do the payment, else I will send the Fee by mail, and also the AOS/IV package. Atleast we will get the documents reviewed on time. Please do let me know if anyone has any other suggestions.

That I know is A number can be found in a GC. So you put none or N/A

Hello Everyone,

Thought I would ask the question as I'm always unsure what is going on with this VISA process....

We completed the DS-261 on 12th May and paid the ASOS fees on the 13th may and showed as PAID a couple of days later.

Everything else on the website shows N/A for example supporting and finance docs, IV application, civil docs.

The IV fee shows PAY NOW but when I click on the link the fee shows as zero.

There doesn't seem to be any link to start the DS-260 and I can't click the IV application button on the top right, should I continue to wait for something to happen or is there other steps I can be doing?

Been on hold for 25 minutes on the second number provided by the NVC, the rep (forgot his name) was really polite he tried to Review my DS-261, first asked about all the details of my agent and then said that he can only view my DS-261 he cant review it because "someone else" already has my case and is looking into it. Apologized and said that he noted my details and will try again later and will make sure to send me my I/V fee receipt as soon as it is reviewed :/ :/ :/

Weird thing though, i called about a week ago to get some info and they put me through to a visa specialist and she said the same thing when i asked her to review my DS-261 over the phone "someone else is already looking into my case"

Any thoughts on this my fellow visa-j'ers?

Tried calling last night but apparently 11:45pm is the same as midnight when it comes to their operating hours... But I did get through this morning and no case number yet. And according to them it's taking 4 weeks to be assigned a case number. I'll call back early next week.

Unless the petitioner is self-employed, you can just send the tax transcripts from the previous year(s).

For most beneficiaries, the A number won't be assigned until the visa is issued (if they didn't have one previously from dealings with immigration).
