Help!!! I havent been able to find a single doctor to give me the Tdap shot and my medical exam is tomorrow morning at 8:30am!!! Dr Cheema told me i need to get it before the exam...what's going to happen with me showing up not getting it done?! Will i fail the exam?!

Your family doctor is suppose to give it to you...as soon as i told my doctor i will have to do a medical for us immigration, he googled it to see what vaccines i need and to make sure i had them..since my Tdap was more than 10 years ago he gave me another one...I see your medical is this morning, after your done go to a walk in clinic and tell the doctor on call what u need it for.. good luck.

Hi! I don't think you have to worry about vaccines ... I done my medical checkup at a clinic/physician accepted by US Embassy specially for US Immigrant visa purpose, here in Bucharest, Romania. The doctor will check your vaccination records you are going to provide (if you have), and based on age he/she will determine if you need any extra vaccination; if you need, like you said, you need "Tdap shot", the clinic/physician where you are going to do your medical checkup, should be able to give you the required shot (vaccination), against the value of the vaccine, which you have to pay for.

The best think to do is to call the clinic where you go for medical and ask if can be provided to you the vaccination you need; in most countries, these clinics which are approved by US Embassies to do medical for visa, are able to provide also the vaccination.

Good luck!

Hey christina - similar thing to me except i asked my doc to check it and she gave the mumps booster.

so basically yeh get the shot and confirmation and send to Dr Lee - maybe just call them and ask them if that is what you need to do or you need to show the blood test result to show immunity.

It's so frustrating. Everyone I ask says that three months waiting for an interview from Amman is way too long but every time I call, they just tell me to wait some more. Could my case have been overlooked? Has that ever happened? And if so, what can I do about it?

Overlooked with you calling them I highly doubt that. There's others waiting with you like I stated with a 3/30 CC and they do not have an interview either. All you can do is wait. August scheduling should start next week.

Hi, folks:

Could use some encouragement. My husband had his visa interview this morning at the embassy in Guyana. It did not go well. So we met through his sister - she is a friend of mine that I met at church in the U.S. in November 2013. April 2014 she went home to visit Guyana and when she came back she told me that her brother had seen a picture of me and wanted to speak to me. We started talking on the phone and through text in May 2014. Things progressed quickly and in June he proposed. We got married August 2014 in Barabados. When we went to Barbados this was the first time we had met in person. We got there on a Saturday and got married on the Wednesday. My mother was there as well as my godmother, cousin and cousin's boyfriend. My husband's grandmother, aunt, and brother were also there. His father is deceased and his mother could not afford the plane ticket to come from Guyana, especially since she had her granddaughter for the summer. Anyway, it was a beautiful beach wedding. We sent pics of the wedding, phone records, receipts, etc with our I-130 petition. The office kept saying how it's weird that we met for the first time when we were getting married. She asked how many times I have seen him since the wedding and I told her the truth. I went to see him over th Christmas holiday for two weeks and am here now. She said we need to come back tomorrow for a joint interview. She gave a white paper that basically says the visa was denied. It says "the refusal can be overcome once we receive the requested information below" then it lists the date and time for our joint interview. It's disturbing me that she didn't ask for any evidence. I offered her the pics from my trip in December and she took it. But I have phone records, text records, proof that I added him to my health insurance and car insurance, and receipts for money transfers I have sent him. I will show her all of that tomorrow. I'm just praying this interview goes well. Our road to marriage may not have followed a common course, but it's definitely real. Please pray for us.

Means good news. Usually after Ready is issued. I am sure because of all the computer glitches they just haven't clicked to it. I am going to say congratulations to keep it positive.
