The Immigrant Visa Application used to come in two parts. Both 1) and 2) are combined in the DS-260 now!!!

Photographs are two current 2inch x 2inch passport-type photographs. You may have already submitted these, but if you submitted them more than six months ago, you need current ones. It really is good practice to carry two NEW photographs to your interview - just in case.

DWheels, there are many perfectly good reasons why an Adjusted Gross Income can be much lower than a Gross Income. I think Rachel is going to be OK as she is. It may be that her husband knows how to use the tax laws wisely.

I believe they are more interested in Gross Income to start with - especially since the Gross Income for this person is steady over the last three years.

If Rachel wants to prepare Joint Sponsor paperwork just in case, then I think that is a good backup. I'm also not as familiar with her embassy/consulate - I do know that some love to throw curveballs at the last minute.

Rachel, if you go through getting Joint Sponsorship paperwork together, make sure you get it locked down tightly - with all the proper tax transcripts, original signatures, etc.

You are right. :dancing:

We will find someone lol and I doubt they ask for it at the interview lol cuz My P4 Letter does not say anything about it and when I called NVC they always said my documents and AOS were all right. The most important is I will have my Hubby next to me. (F)

Oh I know but when I saw 1099 Red flags went u cuz you know how some embassies are about self -employed and such ya know.

Rachel I would do as Sukie suggest backup plan of joint sponsor is always best. Better to have and not need. I would love you coming back and say " na na Dwheels we didn't even need a joint sponsor I would be the first to congratulate you? :goofy:
