Hey Olee,

Thanks for the advise. Yes we have a joint financial sponsor.

Also, what do you think is the right answer for "Will you work once you are in the US" ?

As obviously I will be looking to work once we immigrate.

DeathRaaki, I am not familiar with your type of visa, it says I-1 on your timeline? Is it Press and Media Representatives visa? Or did you possibly make a mistake while filling your timeline?

Oh, I checked your timeline more closely, it says you filed for I-130, spouse visa? It will be CR-1 or IR-1 visa. Then of course you may answer you intend to work as you will be able to work right away after you enter the USA. It is immigrant visa and YES, it gives you permission to live and work.

Hey Everyone,

I have a question. My wife is my petitioner and has been residing with me in UAE for the past 2 years. I have my case approved from NVC and awaiting for an interview date.

Do you guys believe that her staying with me will be an issue in the interview as I have heard that people who have their spouse residing with them don't get their visa approved.

Thanks.

DeathRaaki, as you got married in March 2013, you will get IR-1 visa. It means 10 years visa. You won't have to lift conditions (as with the CR-1 visa) after 2 years of living in the USA. You have best case ever. All the best for you, guys! Live, work and enjoy your life with your wife :luv:
