Good Day Everyone!

I went with my husband to his interview in Kingston on June 5, 2015. The interview went pretty smoothly. We did have a small mishap the day before collecting his medical results. My flight was delayed and my husband was on his way to pick me up so we missed the time to collect his results. When we went to his interview the next morning we begged the lady interviewing us if we can quickly pick it up and drop off after the interview. She insisted this was not allowed and we were supposed to use DHL to send them the results, but she was kind enough to make an exception for us. we returned later with his results and they kept his passport and told him they would call us if anything goes wrong.

Does anyone from Kingston know approximate time from interview to receipt of visa?

Did mine Monday and picked it up on Friday. Usually 3-5 days.

Just a little "fine tuning" after "AT NVC"... "IN TRANSIT" means that NVC has entered your packet into the DHL system. Your status will stay "IN TRANSIT" while your packet is still physically at NVC

Has anyone who received an interview date gotten an email from NVC yet? I got my date thru phone last Tuesday, but still no email.

No not yet i got my date last tuesday too hoping to get an email tomorrow. I am gonna Call NVC and ask them too. I will update you guys

Dwheels - Thank you for everything you do for this place and all the support you give! I couldn't have made this journey without your support! My hubby had is interview passed perfect, got his visa, flew here, Poe was perfect and he is now finally home with me and our kids <3

I cry daily waiting on new Delhi embassy. Why they so slow giving interview dates.

Hey don't stress, you should get an appointment scheduled soon! keep calling them !

I called them on 6th and got an interview date for after 55 days! Yeah they are super slow at New Delhi :cry:

Congratulations. Of course you can always ask the embassy for an earlier date once your petition gets their. Follow the example in the first post. I would get your medical done soon as you can and surely state about wife's pregnancy also. Hope you get success there.

I just called still no interview :( they said they are still scheduling for July but that doesn't mean anything cause it's country specific and they can't give that information. I'm just getting really frustrated and more impatient by day.

Yes you have to wait because they have no record of you. You can email them now sure won;t hurt nothing just to give them a heads up. But they can't do anything until they have your file in hand.

No attachments you need no reason although I am sure a good reason helps maybe its more about space and if they can do it and accommodate it. Many get the slot due to cancellations. So here's to a cancellation happening for you.

08-03-2017 Daughter and I completed biometrics; May 2018 - I had to redo my biometrics (reason unknown)

I went picked it up. Ask them when you go for yours if they can courier it...I just wanted to physically have it in my hand lol.

I was worried they wouldn't have it ready in time. I am actually leaving for Ottawa on Friday this week and going to stay at my uncles house - then go to Montreal from there on Tuesday and my husband is giving me a "mock" interview tonight LOL!
