She had gone to Nakuru to see her family but now in Nairobi hoping 4th is interview complete, 11th is pick up of the passport and 16th is US bound flight to arrive in Minneapolis on 17th evening. Can't believe we gabbled with purchasing a ticket but couldn't wait!! The Lord is with us.

Dear Dwheels76, dear all HELP

your joy of finally getting the interview dates was so contagious that I called the NVC too. My CC was on 13th of May. I got it confirmed twice by phone and by e-mail too. Today I was expecting the great news about my interview date, but instead I got the answer my case is "under administrative processing". No explanation, nothing. The rep Rusty said he can not give any of the information. What is going on? What does it mean? Our case is pure clean, I have overstay 14 years ago, but I was able to visit the USA twice during the last two years on the VWP.

Am I in trouble? Does it happen at the NVC? HELP, please!

If you are under Administrative processing (which is odd at NVC) it would be for either your AOS or IV that's all NVC does review and accept. Nothing to do with an overstay.

I would call NVC back and request to speak to supervisor. Maybe you will get Gus.

Congrats ChristinaG....Dr.M in Toronto dont take phone calls, u can email them and they will get back to you right away...I did my medical with them and it was quite easy, have to pick it up tomorrow.

Thanks khanhtan. I hope so too. Wondering if they assign the interview date in order or just random. Your case completed on april 1st which is first day of april and your interview date on july 21st. It is so weird. My case completed on april 16th. So Im hope my interview date will also be in july. Praying. Haha

That is wonderful, I see it as an act of faith, "The righteous shall live by faith." Yes.. she will board that plane on the 16th, so it is well that she went to see her family.Tell me about passport pick up, how is it done and where is the pick up in Nairobi? Did you guys buy a one way ticket, is it ok? Am curious but I will spare you for now. God is good.

Thanks I've messaged the two with websites and will call Dr. Lee tomorrow morning as well..... I was hoping for Dr. Lee ((my family doc worked with him way back )) but at this point whichever can give me the earliest date so I can try to move up the interview

You can pay the fee when you have Visa in hand because you need the Alien # from Visa.

Hi there fellow Canadian / MTL filers:

My CC is May 12, I just called the NVC but no appointment has been scheduled for me yet :/ I got excited after seeing 3-4 Canadians who got their interview dates today with CC dates around the same as mine.

My priority date on my CC email is Feb 23 - does this have any bearing? Do the other MTL filers have priority dates that are before mine?
