N-400 June 2015 Filers

^{still stuck at received your application on June 8th. FP done on July 2nd. Chicagoland area. Spoke with tier 1 officer and then tier 2 officer, opened a request to look into the case and got a standard reply that delay due to increase case load work not related to your case . My wife applied at the same time and has an oath on Nov 4th. Not sure how to proceed or what the delay is about.no legal problems in past.}

It does seem interesting how everything is concentrated around those dates. Mine was received on June 10th and FP on July 2nd. Lots of others round here are totally stalled who have similar dates too.

My oath is on Tuesday 11/03/15 ?????????

Can I take a couple of my family members with me? The letter doesn't say anything...

My Spouse successfully completed interview last month and this week received notification of oath scheduled. My case still in the same status- application received. Online check says you are within processing time frame. Will wait patiently until time comes.

any one knows when and where Chicago oath ceremonies are held? I do not see any dates on the links for Naturalization ceremonies Chicago.

Naturalization Ceremonies

The Chicago Field Office conducts Judicial Ceremonies approximately twice per week and usually conducts three Administrative Ceremonies per week. This office does not conduct same-day naturalization ceremonies.

And yes suburbs falls in to Chicago service area.

Service Area

Received official response from my Congresswoman of their inquiry to USCIS regarding my N-400 application. Case pending due to " Security Background check ". In Response to my service request one month back USCIS official position was " Due to excessive work load NOT related to me case they are expecting delay in processing my case ". Funny thing is that I know since July that it is stuck in "Name Check" background checks as there was no "inline for interview" but it takes congressional inquiry to get truth out from them.
