Finally my interview has been scheduled. I received status update SMS on 15th Oct 2015 around 5 pm and now I am waiting for the actual interview letter.

I hope Callum, Nevin and many other friends from VJ waiting for interview will receive the updates soon..

I had my oath ceremony October 14, 2015 at 1pm

1.I arrived 12:40 and i am with my boyfriend but the guard wearing blue coat stop us when he saw my boyfriend carrying camera , he said camera is not allowed but phone is allowed . it's odd because everyone using phone and taking picture inside. alot of applicants with their family been stopped and they actually go back to their car to put the camera away.

2. although my appointment stated arrived at 1pm , they closed the door at 1:30 ( if you are late chances you can wait 2 months for your next ceremony)

3. since my boyfriend has to put the camera back in our car i waited for him which took him almost 30 minutes to get back that means i was late for a minute and the guy let us in then close the door after.

4. people are clapping to those people are late lol ( some said we are too early for the next ceremony) kinda pain in the ### since they never stated that no camera allowed . how ironic they let phone inside and they are allowed to take photo.

5. they are two doors for applicant and guest after the back check in. its in the same room except the whole hall is devided in two , applicants and guest seats . they are 2800+ applicant and more family members than applicants in the convention center.

the spokesperson of the ceremony stated that the top 5 applicants that days are chinese , 4th is the vietnamese , 3rd el salvadorian , 2nd philippines and the number one majority of the applicants taking oath that day are mexicans.

6. before you get seated i was directed to the left corner where officials members of uscis are seated with numbers on the wall , i saw one of the person who interviewed me . they took my oath ceremony letter and green card , after they stamp it and staple and punch hole in my green card they write number to my letter ( it means that is designated number where to go after ceremony to claim your certificate )

6. ceremony started around 1:45 , the judge made his speech , and we pledge , and sung the national anthem .

7. after that we you checked your number that they stamped where to get your certificate.

8. they took back the letter of the oath ceremony that they stamped together the greencard and gave to me my certificate. i thought they going to throw my green card in the bin but its not they kept it in the folder were they took my certificate . i guess that will goes back to they record.

9. the ceremony finished at 2:45 , by the way the guest (family member) are asked to leave the hall after the ceremony and they can wait at the exit door . while the applicants are remain inside till they get their certificate

by the way if you come early you get out first . you get seated accordingly based upon your arrival , there is no designated seat per name . it just if you get early you seated in first row. then you get your certificate first . since i am late i am one of the last person ,but it didnt take that long , they are very organize.
