Wow this is moving a long so fast! A few days ago I got the we will schedule your interview soon (in line) and I just got an online notification that our interview date has been scheduled and will be mailed to us!

On July 20, 2015, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization. We will mail you an interview notice.

Haha thanks for the correction. It's kind of silly because technically the date the change occurs (which you would see listed online) is more accurate than when you receive something in the mail because of delays in the mail process but I guess those details aren't really that critical in the long run!

On July 17, 2015, we started the interview scheduling process for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization , Receipt Number NBC*xxxxxxxxx. We will send you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go towww.uscis.gov/addresschangeto give us your new mailing address.

Our dates are so close together I wouldn't be surprised if we had our Oath ceremonies together! haha

11/18/08 - Arrived in U.S. on B2 visa

02/05/09 - Extended return plane ticket to stay for an extra 3 months

04/23/09 - Decided we didn't want to be apart even though we extended the stay and got married!

04/30/09 - Sent I-130/I-485/I-765 from B2 (no I-693 as it is not yet complete.)

05/03/09 - Received email form USPS stating that package had arrived safely and was signed for!

05/11/09 - Received NOA1's for I-130/I-485/I-765

05/16/09 - Received Biometrics Appointment

05/30/09 - Received a CRAZY amount of RFE's that were dated 05/21/09

06/01/09 - Biometrics Appointment Scheduled. In and out in 10 minutes!! Sent off RFE information (Should arrive in MO on Wed.)

06/03/09 - USCIS received RFE response

07/23/09 - I called to have a service request put in

07/24/09 - I-765 Touched (FINALLY)

07/25/09 - I-765 CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED!!!!!!!! (About time!)

08/03/09 - EAD card came in the mail WOOHOO!!!

08/07/09 - Interview letter arrived

09/02/09 - Interview Date

09/07/09 - I think this is the day I received my Green Card.. Can't quite remember anymore.

Removal Of Conditions

08/03/11 - WOW it's already been TWO years! Sent ROC package to VSC.

08/05/11 - NOA1 date which arrived 8/10/2011

09/02/11 - Bio Appointment the notice was dated 8/12/11

why aloe yours are pretty fast. good luck! I guess California is always taking forever . any LA fillers here?

Yes that is very likely that we have the oath together. Hopefully we get instantly approved.

If I get instant approval I will try to ask for the soonest Oath date even if i need to travel a bit. Hope they are open to that. On the day of biometrics I asked if I can do that and the lady said I can always ask the interviewer and hope for the best.

Im trying to keep my scheduled flights and not have to change them and pay extra $$.

The website was updated that I am in line for interview since July 8th and I haven't heard anything.

I think it has something to do with the backlog at Orlando field office. It says they are taking care of cases from October 14 2014 :(

I got done with bio on 07/02 as scheduled, so far i haven't heard from USCIS. Nothing about "in-line" either. I guess they're still performing my background check.

-----Adjustment of Status for both Parents-----------------------------------------------

05/11/2018: Mailed documents I130, I485, I131,I693, NBC for Adjustment of Status

05/16/2018: Received Date/ Priority Date - NOA Received

05/25/2018: Received NOA Bio-metrics for I485 Appt: 06/10/2018

06/10/2018: Bio-metrics are completed

06/12/2018: Received RFE requesting for a Birth Certificate for both parents

07/28/2018: Responded to RFE, sent their non availability of birth certificate copy

08/02/2018: Online status changed to " Request for Evidence was Received"

08/29/2018: Made an info pass appointment requesting for expediting Travel document as parents had to travel India. Expedite request was rejected 

09/14/2018: I131 Parole document was Approved

I totally agree that it gets disheartening when you check that myUSCIS page for an update, each day to find nothing much going on.

Because I've filed under a different category, I recieved an email a couple of weeks back from an IO directly at one of the field offices. He basically states that the entire process of checking should take between 6-12 weeks. I read about the three main background checks they can do- and because those are external it's really easy for it to get into a little backlog in any one of those checks- it doesn't mean anything is wrong when this happens.

I'm getting myself all bent out of shape because I filed a month ago! : )

I was thinking about it, and just need to relax- when it happens it happens and there's nothing you can really really do to speed it up. Wishing everyone a great day and good luck when your time comes!! It will come! :)
