Looks like it's official. I will be having my interview more than 3 weeks prior to anniversary, should there be no rescheduling on the part of the USCIS. Can somebody update my info please, it is for August 18. Thanks

I'll keep you posted. My eligibility is 9/2 so similar situation to yours.

I asked my lawyer and was told that's not a problem - the oath will have to be after the eligibility date. Looking at the previous cases out of buffalo it seems like that's to be expected anyway.

Question: How long after receiving the NOA did you receive the letter with the date for your fingerprinting? And long after the letter was your fingerprinting appt. ? I'm feeling nervous, NOA 11 days ago (dated 16 days ago), but no fingerprint appt letter yet. I leave the country for 2 weeks next Friday!! Worried this letter won't come before I leave and appt. will be scheduled while I'm gone! Called USCIS help line yesterday, they said the biometrics appt. letter will not appear online, that they don't have that information, so I can't even check whilst I'm abroad :-(.

Do not hesitate to ask for a tier 2. If they insist they can help you, tell them nicely that you have right in front of you the very info they're relaying to you and wish to be transferred to a tier 2, who could see more than just an online update.. just insist, but be calm and nice.. that's how I found out my bio date and even my interview date. I just tell them, I don't wish to miss an appointment due to lost mail..I'm always calm when I do this, and always successful at being transferred

@breyandtthew - so that's how you found out your interview date. Makes me feel better cause I was expecting that letter in the mail today and didn't get it. Looking at Aloe and your timelines the interview letter was delivered 4 days after "interview scheduled" online notice - which was 1-2 days after in line.

I initially attributed the distance from the applicants address to the local office address for the variation in delivery times.

@khamsa, yes I called initially and they gave me an idea of when my interview was going to be, and said mid August.. but I did receive the letter yesterday and I guessed right, the 18th. I believe you'll receive your letter today!

My case was recieved by USCIS on 24th June, I got a receipt on 1st July and a receipt notice on the 9th July. My case status hasn't updated until today and it reads:

Ya, same here. I got my letter background a couple weeks ago, and done my finger prints yesterday, the online status is the same since day 1 when I received the letter.

How do you guys get the e-notification?

Thanks myselfdotcom, I really appreciate your reply. I'm not sure why I place so much importance on the online status when everywhere you read says that it's usually late. I'm just totally confused about the 'we recieved your case yesterday' when actually it was recieved at the end of June and I've already been issued the I-797C. ?
